20,000 Digi-leagues Under the Sea

We were in the digital world destroying control spires, when our digivices reacted to a new digiegg. We followed it to an offshore oil platform in the ocean. I immediately felt my body shake. I wasn't a big fan of the ocean, I was always scared of it, mostly being trapped in it.

"This is the place." Davis said.

"This is a strange place to find a digiegg." I said.

"Says here that the digiegg is below us." Yolei said.

"You mean under the water?" I asked nervously.

"Why would a digiegg be hidden in a place like this?" Kimiko wondered.

"Hope the egg's waterproof." Armadillomon joked.

"I'm just wondering if the egg belongs to Tk or perhaps Kari or-." Hawkmon was cut off by me running to find the digiegg.

"Well, I'm gonna go and find it." I said rushing into the oil rig, excited to finally get this over with. I didn't want to be in the ocean longer than I had to.

The others followed me into the oil rig. We followed the signal down deeper under the water and with every step I felt more nervous.

We got to the bottom level and found that the signal was strongest here. This was where the digiegg was.

Just then, the whole oil rig began to shake violetnly.

"What's happening?" Kimiko asked running to the window. She gasped and backed away.

"There's something outside." She said, "It's big, bad and looks like a water dragon."

The oil rig shook again and Tk and Kari rushed to window to see what was outside.

"It's Megaseadramon and he's ot a dark spiral around his tail." Tk and Kari shouted.

Suddenly, the room was flooded with water and the alarms sounded. We all began to panic.

"The room is flooding!" Tk shouted as water came rushing into the room.

"What are we gonna do?" Yolei asked.

"Davis, look!" Veemon yelled from across the room, "I found an emergancy shut off valve."

"I'd classify this as an emergency. Flip the switch!" Davis shouted.

V-mon quickly pressed the button, large metal disks came from the walls and blocked the water.

"Great, now the water can't get in." Davis said relieved.

"Yeah, but we can't get out." Gatomon said sadly, "And even if we could then we'd just be bait because Megaseadramon's out there waiting for us."

We were completely trapped in the ocean. I sat down and hugged my legs close to my body, burying my head in my knees

Kimiko took a deep breath and sat down on the ground, her legs crossed and her face calm as she closed her eyes.

An hour passed and Megaseadramon didn't even try to attack us.

"Megaseadramon's still out there." Davis said.

"Why doesn't he attack us?" Yolei asked.

"He doesn't have to." Tk said, "He knows it's only a matter of time before our air supply runs out down here."

"We're not gonna make it out of here alive, are we?" I asked, drawing all attention towards me.

Armadillomon walked up to me. I could tell he and the others were really worried about how I was acting.
