The Last Temptation of the Digidestined

~~~~Raya~~~~

I was completely stunned by who was by my side. Rayla, my darker counterpart, was kneeling next to me with a smile on her face.

"Rayla?" I questioned, "How are you here? And physically?"

"Don't know, don't care. All that matters is that I'm here and ready to fight." She replied before standing up and stretching out her hand towards me.

"Ready to destroy this freak of a digimon?" She asked.

I smiled and took her hand, standing up tall despite the pain I was feeling.

"Let's do this." I said.

I looked back down at Genki and he smiled at me.

"Stay here with the others, all right little brother?" I said. My brother nodded and I turned my attention back to the battle raging on.

Lekismon and X-Veemon had rammed into Myotismon, but the evil digimon didn't budge.

He grabbed X-Veemon and Lekismom roughly before throwing them away. Firamon tried to use a fire attack, but Myotismon dodged.

"Lekismon! Don't you give up!" I shouted.

"Show this creep who's the Mon." Rayla shouted.

All of a sudden, I felt no more pain, just a sense of strength running through my entire body.

Rayla and I looked at each other and nodded, knowing exactly what we had to do.

"Digi-form! Lekismon!" I shouted.

"Dark Digi-form! Shadow Lekismon!" Rayla shouted.

Our bodies were engulfed in a blinding light for a second before our transformations were complete.

I looked like Lekismon, but Rayla was almost the complete opposite. Her hair was long and blood red with black roots, and unlike my armor, her armor was black and silver, with the crescent moons facing the opposite direction as mine.

With a determined attitude and a lot of courage, we both flew into battle, ready to take Myotismon down.

My friends were ready to retreat, hut I wasn't, and neither was Kimi. She stood by me the entire time as we cheered on our digimon partners.

All of a sudden, X-Veemon had a blue glow outlining him, the same with Firamon, but his was orange-red. Our digimon rushed in and hit Myotismon dead center, finally pushing him back a little.

"It's working." I said.

"They're getting stronger." Kimi added.

"V-laser!"

"Fira Claw!"

"Tear Arrow!"

The three attacks hit dead on, pushing Myotismon back and making him even angrier.

"So, you wanna play hardball, do you?" Myotismon growled.

"Sure, mind if we join the next round?" A voice said from above.

All of us looked up to see two new digimon floating in the sky, one light and one dark. But then, we all noticed something about these digimon....

"They're human!" Kimi shouted.

"Wait, is that Lekismon, and a, dark Lekismon?" Tk asked.

"So that means, the light Lekismon is Raya in a Digi-form. But who's the dark Lekismon?" Kari wondered.
