The Insect Master's Trap

"Whoever destroys the most control spires gets a special prize!" I shouted.

"And what prize is that?" Tk asked.

Kimi smiled by my side and shouted, "They'll be the first to try out my newest cookie recipe!"

That got everyone ready to help take down even more control spires. Especially me. I wanted to win this contest, I did love her...

I mean her sweets! Nothing more!

All of our digimon knocked down as many control spires as we could, at least until it was finally time to go. We went back to the real world and Cody ran to get some things for the digimon to eat.

"So, who won the contest?" Kari asked.

Kimi pulled out a small notebook and flipped to the middle.

"Well, while all of us were working on taking down the control spires, I kept a close eye on how many spires you all destroyed." She said, grabbing a pencil from the nearby computer desk and writing in the notebook.

"From my tallies, I have concluded that the one who destroyed the most control spires was..... Davis!"

I was surprised, much like the rest of the group.

"Sunmon, please bring out the special prize." Kimi said to her partner. Sunmon nodded and ran to Kimi's backpack, jumping inside and quickly coming back out with a clear bag filled with small white and blue cookies.

Kimi bent down and thanked her partner for grabbing the bag of sweets before standing back up and handing them to me.

"Here you go. Hope you like them." She said sweetly. I almost blushed when I saw her smile. It was as if she didn't have a care in the world.

I took the bag, opened it and grabbed one of the white cookies. Once I took a bite, I was amazed by the vanilla taste, but it began to change to strawberry. I looked dkwm at the cookie and saw something red oozing out of the cookie.

"Wow, this is amazing!" I exclaimed, taking in te rest of the cookie in one bite.

I took out one of the blue cookies and sure enough they were just as good as the white ones. It was like blueberry pie, one of my favorites.

"These are awesome!" I said. Kimi blushed and looked away, fiddling with her fingers nervously.

"I'm glad you like them. They're my new pie and daifuku cookies. I tried to make them best I could." She said.

"Guys, you've gotta try these." I turned around to the rest of the group and they all took a cookie, enjoying them as much as I did.

A minute later, Cody came back with a big bag filled with junk food.

"Here you go, junk food from the vending machine. Candy bars, potato chips and cheese crackers. Bon Appétit." Cody said setting the bag of junk food on the floor for the digimon.

They immediately dug into the bag taking whatever food they could.

"C'mon, guys take it easy. You'll get a stomachache." He warned.

"Cody, you've gotta try some Kimi's new cookies. They're amazing." I said. Cody came over, took one of the white cookies and was stunned into silence as he ate the rest of the cookie in one bite before reaching for another one.

"Check this out." Yolei said from the computer.

"What is it?" Tk asked.

"Another control spire just went down in the digital world." She said. I leaned over to see the screen and there was one less control spire on the map.
