Iron Vegiemon

We went back to the digital world to help free women of the digimon captured by the Digimon Emperor. We asked one of the Gotsumon about a prison nearby, he was grateful for our help.

"Pepper Breath!" Agumon said as he attacked the metal bars.

"V Headbutt!" V-mon headbutted the bars and ran inside the cell to help the Gotsumon prisoners.

"C'mon, let's rock!" The blue digimon said pushing the Gotsumon out of the cell.

"That was easy." Davis said panting as we all ran as fast as we could to escape the prison before anyone could find us.

We ran and ran until we reached a safe place outside the prison, where the grassy hills let us rest.

The Gotsumon collapsed onto the grass and let out a big sigh of relief.

"You guys are officially fugitives." Agumon said.

"If that's the the kind of puny defense the Digimon Emperor is gonna put up, then this fight will be over in the first round." Davis said confidently.

"Something was weird." Tk said.

"What was?" Patamon asked.

"Well, the fact that it was so easy for us to break out of that prison. There wasn't a single guard around, it's like he wanted us to do it. I think he's up to something."

"You're crazy!" Davis exclaimed, "He took one look at our awesome skills and he hit the road. Isn't that right, Kari?"

I smiled at his enthusiasm, but Tk had a point.

"Actually, Davis, I'm gonna have to agree with Tk." I said. Davis slumped in disappointment, "This guy is not gonna let us get away that easy without some kind of reason."

"We'll worry about that later." Tai said, "For now, let's get back to the real world. I'm so hungry I can practically smell the cafeteria."

"That's my peanut butter and jellybean sandwich I've had in my pocket since last week." Davis said, making us all retch in disgust.

As we walked to the portal back to the real world, I felt eyes watching me from the trees. Coronamon and I looked around and saw a shadow standing on one of the tree branches. The cloth the shadow was wearing blew with the wind, and I could a sense of peace and security wash over me.

"Do we really have to keep Selfless a secret?" Coronamon asked, "I mean, Selfless keeps watching over us, shouldn't the others-"

"No, Coronamon." I cut him off, "You know we can't tell the others about Selfless. It's not the right time. Selfless will only be revealed when it's the right time."

Coronamon sighed and ran to catch up with the others.

I sighed sadly, knowing that Selfless would be revealed soon, even I wanted to know their identity. But I respected their wishes enough to keep Selfless a secret. I was not one to tell secrets so easily.

I watched from the trees, seeing the Vegiemon take over one of the Gazimon villages. Thankfully, one of my Gazimon rebels was in there, ready to help. And a certain Gabumon was there as well.

"This control spire is the most dominating object in the digi-world." The Emperor stated, "Wherever I build one that area will be under my control and everyone there will be my slaves. It's useless to try and escape, those who do will have to answer to my soldiers."

I growled in anger while the Vegiemon began to round up the Gazimon and Gabumon.

"Selfless!" A voice said from behind me. I turned around and saw a Gazimon with a golden ring around his arm kneeling on the branch.
