Cody Takes a Stand pt. 2

The sun shining over me through my window stirred me from my peaceful sleep. I slowly opened my eyes to see a familiar head of brown hair. I smiled as I felt my little brother shift in his sleep.

My partner, Luna, was also still asleep, so I carefully got out of bed and got ready for the day. After showering and putting on my clothes, I walked back to the bed and gently shook Genki and Luna awake.

They happily woke up and hugged me as soon as they saw that I was back. I told them about what happened in the Digital World and how I spoke to Blackwargreymon. To say that Luna was shocked, was a serious understatement.

I never thought I'd get a lecture from a digimon, but I deserved it after all. I should've gone back home as soon as I woke up, but I had to get some answers from Blackwargreymon.

He wasn't bad, just confused. Confused about lot of things, like what his purpose is. He's not alone on that one, lots of people don't know the answer to that question until they actually find it.

Blackwargreymon needed help. And I was going to be the one to do it.

Deep in the waters of the ocean, a Destiny Stone lay, protected by Ikkakumon, Megaseadramon and many other water digimon.

We found it just a little while ago, and unfortunately, we haven't heard anything from Raya. Tk and Raya were getting really worried about her, but we pushed forward with the plan for Raya's sake.

Maybe if Blackwargreymon comes out, then Raya will follow. Or maybe, she'll be Rayla again. If that's the case, then we'll have to stop her as well.

Submarimon and I were all prepared to go under the water.

"Cody, we'll leave all the underwater stuff to you." Davis said.

"Right, Ikkakumon and I will try our best to protect the Destiny Stone. But we're going to need some help." I replied.

"How about me?" A voice said from above. We all looked up and saw Raya saying through the air in a Lekismon Digi-form.

"Raya!" We all shouted happily as she touched down.

She smiled at us and Tk immediately ran to hug her.

"Where have you been? We've been worried sick." He said trying to hold back his tears of relief.

Raya's smile softened. She gently kissed Tk's forehead and scanned through her digivice.

"Sorry I worried all of you, but I had to take care of a few things with Blackwargreymon." She excused, her digivice settling on a picture of Submarimon.

"You don't mind if I use your form, Submarimon?" She asked my parnter.

"Not at all, My Lady." Submarimon replied.

"Kimiko, why don't you bring out Tsunamimon. We're going to need him too."

Kimiko nodded, "Of course." She immediately changed Coronamon to Submarimon while Raya called out her Digi-form.

"Digi-form! Submarimon, Reliable Guardian of the Sea!" She shouted before jumping into the water with Tsunamimon and changing under the waves.

We all dove deep into the water and I was amazed hy how much Raya changed to look like Submarimon.

It still amazes me how powerful she is.

"I just never get tired of this. How about you, Cody?" Submarimon asked as we passed Megaseadramon.
