Cue song if you want
||Kirishima woke to find himself in anotherworld, a world of darkness and snow. Heopened his eyes and gasped in a breath, but nothing came and he choked on his own dry tongue.
Where...where am I...
He was in a barren cold landscape, snow fell lightly all around him. Breath pale against the numbing air, he blinked in confusion as the frost patiently kissed his face. His freezing cold feet were dug deep in a thick blanket of snow underneath him, the sky above dark, no sun or moonlike. You would think there would be atleast a sound from the snow that fell but there was none, not even the hiss of the wind nipping at his cheek. The deafening silence began to slowly make Kirishima panic as he tried to piece his own thoughts together but he felt empty. He felt nothing. Kirishima couldn't remember how he had gotten there, he couldn't remember anything.
Soon as his eyes shut to blink, bodies surrounded him laying motionless on in the snow. Some bodies he didn't recognize, others...others had the same faces of heroes, his friends and family. Almost everyone he loved and cared for was dead around him.
S-Sero...
Kaminari...
Mina...
S-sensei...
M-mom...
Kirishima's hand flew to his mouth in means of coercing the contents of his stomach that threatened to rise as his irises shakily shifted from each body to the next. The young male blanched in pure horror and disgust upon feeling a warm substance stain his face that was on his hands causing his eyes to flit to his hands.Blood. Blood that wasn't his own coated his hands.
"Why didn't you save us?"
Kirishima's eyes widened at the familiar voice and his attention snapped up. Fear began to deep into every pore of his body as he tried to grasp what was happening. But he couldn't think, not with all their eyes on him. The bodies that were once lifeless on the ground were now standing and staring dead at him. Kirishima felt like a deer caught in the headlights, his heart hammering in his chest as a familiar pink skinned girl stepped forth from the crowd of people, her neck bent at an odd angle as if it had been snapped mercilessly.
"Why didn't you save us?" Mina repeated her question once more hollowly.
Kirishima remained silent and unmoving. He had no words. It was as if he had lost his ability to speak; as if he could no longer function.
"Tch, you're really just gonna sit there!?" Kaminari's voice barked, pushing his way through the crowd to stand up front along with Mina. Kaminari's vibrant blonde hair was matted with blood and blood gushed from gut wrenching gash on his hairline.
"Where were you honey..."
M-mom?! Kirishima thought, nearly giving himself a whiplash as he forced himself up in spite of his heavy body. Kirishima could barely catch a glimpse of his mother and father from the crowd and like the people that surrounded them, they had some sort of fatal wound on their body, blood pooling at their feet.
W-whats going on...what happened...
"You did nothing." Sero's voice intruded causing Kirishima to swivel back around and stare at his group of friends. Seros body was the hardest out fo all for Kirishima to bare looking at as his friends stomach was ripped wide open, his intestines spilled out to his feet. Kirishima's hand immediately flew to his mouth to stop the bile from slipping past his lips.
"Right, look away and do nothing, that's all you ever do." Sero insulted.
"Cowards can't be heroes." Crimson Riots voice interrupted. Kirishima's head snapped to the side to see his number one hero and idol stand before him with his arms crossed. Disdain and disappointment oozing from the dead man's bloodshot eyes. That was all it took for Kirishima to peel over and empty the contents of his stomach. After a moment of dry heaving, Kirishima's eyes stilled at the sight of a puddle of blue blood. His hands reached up to touch his lips where the blood at came from.
