Don't sleep on my edit worms^
||I glanced to the side at the red haired human whom approached me from down the hall. "I guess you could say that. What are you doing on this side of the dorms, it's late and almost past curfew?"
Kirishima cocked his head in curiosity and walked closer before plopping down next to the horned girl. "I just wanted to see how you were settling in before I headed back to my room to sleep. You've been kind of distant since you returned, everyone's really happy that you're back. I wish you could've gone out to eat with me, Bakugou and the group; I'm sure Mina misses having another girl around. And I know he won't admit it but Bakugou misses having you around too. Ochaco and Tsuyu were wondering where you've been all day as well?"
I couldn't help the small smile that crept on my face as I gazed a head. "I've been catching up on all the work I missed and thinking." I answered. I could feel Kirishima's penetrating gaze on the side of my head which made me glance out of the corner of my eye to see him looking at me with that same weird look in his eye. It took him a few seconds to comprehend I was staring back before he jolted and his face flushed in embarrassment. He quickly looked away which made It my turn to cock my head curiously at his behavior.
"Erm, do you want to talk about it?" He spoke.
"No.
Kirishima deadpanned comically at the girls bluntness as she turned her gaze back forward to stare blankly ahead. An awkward silence commenced between the pair before the horned girl sighed.
"Do you think, I can be a hero too?"
Kirishima raised a brow at the odd question before nodding without hesitation. "Of course."
"Why?" I inquired. Despite declaring to become a hero, I honestly didn't even know where to begin. I had always lacked a perspective on hero society because I simply didn't care for it.
"Well, Why not?" He countered which made my eyes narrow in confusion. "Because, I want to be a hero but I'm not exactly sure what kind of hero I want to be...probably because I honestly don't even know what a hero actually is."
Kirishima was silent for a moment, taking in the girls words before casting his own gaze down in thought. "I think, that anyone can be hero. Whether you wear a fancy cape and costume fighting villains or you're standing up to a bully. It's kind of like how true beauty lays in the eyes of beholder; it all depends on how you feel personally."
"That, sounds...like something an ugly person would say."
Kirishima sweat dropped at the girl beside whom stared at him boredly. He released a sigh, "For instance, All Might. Everyone looks up to him because he's the number one hero and he saved a bunch of lives but not everyone sees him as their hero. Some might prefer Endeavor or underground heroes like Aizawa Sensei or the police department. Personally, my hero is Crimson Riot because he influences me in almost everything that I stand for or at least want to stand for. When you think of a hero, who's the first person that pops into mind." The pinkette was silent for a moment.
"SO STOP BLAMING YOURSELF FOR THINGS YOU CAN'T CONTROL AND COME HOME, HANA!"
"You."
Kirishima was stunned for a moment, his heart hammering in his ears as he stared at the unperturbed girl in shock. M-me...why me?
"I was thinking you'd say Aizawa-sensei or something..."
