Kirishima waited idly in front of the campus, a simple but delicate sunflower clenched tight in his sweaty grasp. His focus was scattered, filled with nervous anticipation. He couldn't stand still while his thoughts danced in infinite directions, letting his feet fidget every few seconds. Man, I can't believe I'm actually taking Fumetsu on a date...
"Pull yourself together, Eijiro, it's just Hana."
Truth be told, Kirishima himself had never been in a relationship before so he didn't even know how to be a 'boyfriend.' This was the first time he had ever taken a woman out on a date and he had racked his brain all night for ideas. It wasn't like there wasn't much to do in Musutafu, if anything there was plenty bur Fumetsu didn't seem like the type to enjoy a fancy dinner at a five star restaurant. Not to mention, because of what happened with the Yakuza raid, she was temporarily restricted from leaving the campus or the area surrounding it without good reason or an approved escort. Unfortunately, while a date would be considered a good reason it wasn't exactly necessary. "I just hope she likes it..." Kirishima sighed.
"Ne, like what puddin?"
Kirishima froze like a deer caught in headlights an immediately swiveled around with an anxious expression. "O-oh Fumetsu you're here!" His heart pulsated in his chest as soon as his eyes landed on the beauty. Her attire wasn't the usual school uniform and was instead a mid thigh length, cyan blue, strapped dress that had pockets with a puffy off the shoulder white top underneath exposing the smooth red skin underneath. She finished the look off with a pair of simple white sandals. Her platinum pink hair was tied up to the side with a simple thin crimson ribbon that complimented the natural crimson liner under her sparkling cyan orbs. She approached him casually, her hands clasped behind her back, her usual devilish grin on her face.
"W-wow, you look...gorgeous—I mean not that you don't always look pretty it's just that I'm so used to you wearing the school uniform."
The horned girl merely offered the boy a look of amusement as she looked the red head up and down. "Ne, you don't look so bad yourself Puddin."
Kirishima looked at his own attire before sweatdropping in embarrassment. She was breathtaking, and here he was in a casual shirt and cargo shorts with his infamous crocs. She's just being nice... Since what he had planned wasn't to formal he didn't feel the need to dress fancy but being in her presence made him feel vastly underdressed. Why am I so nervous...He thought with a faint blush casting his gaze down to the ground bashfully, holding out the sunflower for the girl to take. "I wasn't sure what your favorite flower was so I thought you'd like this sunflower!" Kirishima said hurriedly not once making eye contact.
"Thank you, I actually never had a favorite flower; least til now." I sniffed the plant with a small smile before reaching up and tucking the flower in my hair. Then, I took another step forward and turned so I was facing in the direction he was in. Without a second thought, I laced my fingers with his, jolting the male animatedly, his lips quivering bashfully as he dared not make eye contact with the She-Devil.
"Lead the way, Puddin."Kirishima returned the grin and tugged the girl gently along toward the forest that resides behind U.A's dorms.
I followed him through the trees, silently knowing exactly where he was taking me. "Ne, I see you're taking me to our secret spot, what are you planning?" I inquired but he shook his head with a smirk, "You'll see."
It didn't take long for us to reach the familiar clearing and lake, where a few ducks were swimming around lazily in the water. My eyes scanned our surroundings before falling upon a simple woven picnic basket placed ontop of a light pink blanket with white stripes.
My nostrils immediately flared like a starved hound at the mouthwatering aroma that came from the basket.
