I waited outside across from the home I had stormed out of next to a lone street light. My anger had subsided to minor annoyance.

"Dont Kaa-San me, I've let you play hero long enough because of how hard you worked into getting into that course but if you being a hero means finding out from some monstrous little tramp that you went and actually got yourself killed then I'll pass. You can run the church alongside your father. As for you, get the hell out of my home and stay away from my son!"

Monstrous little tramp...I let out a small growl at the thought and had half a mind not to walk back in that house and—

Kill

No... The bright glowing red of my eyes flashed back to cyan, calming my wild instincts. She's still his mom... Whether I liked it or not, I knew it wouldn't be cash money of me to kill the human who gave birth to Puddin. Either way, I knew deep down my anger was nothing but a shield for the pain I felt. I breathed in, and reached up grazing one of my scarlet horns. Why didn't he say anything....is he really ashamed of me...

My eyes faltered at my own insecurities, Of course he's ashamed...he's a monster now like me...

My eyes glittered with watery tears before my I released an small growl and reeled my fist back and smashed it right into the neck of the street lamp. The metal of the lamp jerked back into a curved arc, causing the lamp to tilt at an odd angle. Pulling my fist back, I crouched downs and stared emptily are the ground. I don't get it...

Despite returning home, becoming whole again and being free, I still felt...sad. I didn't understand why I was so riled up about what the humans who created Kiri thought of me.  I took responsibility, I should feel relieved but I didn't. I felt sad...embarrassed.

"Hana! Hana—" I jolted at the sound of Kirishima's voice bursting from the door of his home, about to barrel down the street but he skidded to a stop upon seeing the crimson skinned girl across from his house next to a...oddly bent lamp post.

"Y-you're still here?!" He stammered which made my heart twinge slightly as I bared my teeth are him in warning not to come closer.

"Yeah, yeah, I was just about to leave. I got the message loud and clear, I'm not wanted here." I sighed, pushing myself up and patting the dust off me. "Ne, I'll see you back at the dorms."

"Fumetsu, Wait!" A hand gripped my wrist causing me to cast a glare over my shoulder at the horned male. "Why, your mom's right? You should stay away from me.  If it weren't for me, you'd still be human. Your life has been nothing but hell since you've met me yet you keep chasing after me?!! Why couldn't you just leave me the hell alone—"

"Because I love you!"

Her eyes and mouth were frozen wide open an an expression of stunned surprise. The bright glowing hues of his eyes reverted back to their usual bleak crimson, brimmed with moisture. He stared intensively at the girl before him, reaching up and gripping the area where his heart was. "I love you, Fumetsu Hana."

Taking a step closer to the girl, refusing to break eye contact. "That's why I keep chasing after you, even if it means being put through hell because It's as I said before, I'd go to hell and back for you."

"I'd go to hell and back for you."

My eyes widened in nostalgia at the memory as he took another step closer. His hands shot up cupping my cheeks firmly and his lips connected with mine. I was stunned and still for a few seconds as the world fell away. It was but a simple kiss, that lasted only a few seconds but it was comforting in ways that words couldn't describe.

He then pulled away with a small smile leaving me stunned as he stared deeply into my eyes making my heart feel as if it were about to do flips in my chest

He then pulled away with a small smile leaving me stunned as he stared deeply into my eyes making my heart feel as if it were about to do flips in my chest. "I manned up." He whispered, his thumb caressing my cheek.

"HELL YEAH! THATS MY BOY—"

"Rikuto!" A woman's voice hissed.

"I mean that's my man!"

Kirishima sweat dropped turning his head to catch a glimpse of his mother and father hiding non-discretely behind the fence to their home across the street. "I told you guys to wait inside." The red head groaned whilst I looked from him to his parents in confusion, my face still feeling strangely warm.

"Kiri I—" But he cut me off with another chaste kiss before pulling away a second later and locking his hand with one of mine. "Come on, lets go back inside!" Kirishima tugged me back across the street over to where his parents were waiting.

It was silent for a moment between us before his mother stepped forth with a father begrudging expression. "Gomen, it seems I was to quick to misjudge you."

"How about we start over and you can tell us more about your self, I'd love to get to know the woman who managed to snag my sons heart." Rikuto grinned toothily, showing off his canines.

Kirishima couldn't help the flush of his cheeks at his fathers words but he shook it off letting his fingers fully intertwine with mine. "Kaa-san, Tou-San, this is Hana Fumetsu! My girlfriend..." My eyes widened slightly at the label and I couldn't help but cast the male a raised brow. From what I remembered, the term girlfriend was one of claim. He's claiming me?

"Ne, what makes you think I wanna be your girlfriend Kiri?"

Kirishima face fell flat in sheer embarrassment as he snatched his hand away and covered his face in shame. "O-oh yeah, right! I-I guess I wasn't getting to cocky, I shouldn't have assumed—"

Kirishima stiffened as arms snaked around his waist and he felt her nestle the side of her face into his back. The sound of a small melodic laugh rung through the air as the girl nudged the boy in the back with one of her horns.
"Ne, I'm just kidding."

Kirishima's face contorted to one of shock as he felt the girl give him a reassuring squeeze with her arms. However, a large thunderous growl emitted from her stomach causing the horned girl to purse her lips.

"Ne, please tell me the food is still on the table." I whined causing Kiri's father to chuckle whilst his mother raised a brow in amusement before nodding and ushering us inside. "Yes, the food should still be warm."
