|Civil War Arc|
I sat in class idly looking over the different work study agencies that I could apply to.
Almost everyone was going back to the work study they were at prior with the exception of a few others such as Otaku and Baku being invited to Endeavors agency."I wonder why the school is sending us back to work study?" I overheard a conversation between Momo and Jirou which made me glance at Eraser uneasily . He had made me and Kirishima promise to keep the events that took place on our little trip a secret for the time being to not stress anyone out. However, once they're all settled into their works study, their mentors would relay the information needed. If there was anyone who needed to prepare the most for the war, it was Otaku. He was the only one who could possibly defeat Shigaraki but he had yet to unlock his other quirks which was a problem.
"Quiet," Aizawa commands lazily causing the room to go silent as he crossed his arms and leaned against the podium. "You have until the tomorrow morning to choose which workstudy you wish to attend. You may choose the same one as before or another agency if you see fit. I also advise you each pack a lot as you will be remaining with your mentors until the end of spring. You will do your classwork online until then."
"Sensei, may we ask how come we're staying for so long?" The tailed human Ojiro in our class asked.
Aizawa briefly cast me and Kiri a glance before crossing his arms with a sigh. "That information will be relayed to you soon enough by your mentors. Until then, I want you all to take this workstudy seriously. If anything, it's not just workstudy, this is preparation for the the real word and what's the come. Now that you all are officially licensed heroes you must be equipped to face the evil that awaits you when you're out there. Remember, being a hero isn't always sunshine and rainbows, there will be times will you will have to make hard decisions for the good of others."
"Way to be pessimistic." Kaminari murmured.
"I'm being realistic. This isn't just some job, this is a duty that has been placed on each of your shoulders. It can be a dangerous job, some of you, if not all have witnessed that first hand. Do not think for a second that this profession is some walk in the park because the day you think being a hero is a cake walk will be your demise."
A wave of tension washed over the room as we all took in his words but he reached up scratching the back of his head sheepishly. "Sorry, it's just I remember how carefree I was when I was your age. I didn't take the job as seriously as I should have and I learned the hard way..." Aizawa paused. "In the time that I have gotten to know you brats, I can truly say that I hold each of you dear to my heart. I do not wish to see anything bad happen to any of you."
"Sensei..." Midoriya murmured.
"Y-ya know, he's kind of cool." Mineta animatedly cried as we all stared emotionally at the exhausted man.
"We love you to Sensei!" Mina cried out, followed by a bunch of the others adding in their own heartfelt responses. Amongst the ruckus, my orbs connected with the shaggy haired man's and I couldn't help the small smile that stained my face.
The bell interrupted our little class A moment and I found myself walking back to the dorms with Otaku. "Have you decided who you're gonna go to this time, Fumetsu-Chan?"
"As much fun as it would be to go back to Daddy Todoroki, being around you, Elsa, and Baku till the end of spring sounds like a headache." I replied bluntly making Otaku sweat drop. The boy cast the horned girl an awkward glance as it felt like it had been centuries since he and her had an actual one on one conversation. When he wasn't catching up on schoolwork , he was doing research on the wielder of his new ability, black whip. He couldn't help but be slightly disappointed that she wasn't gonna do work study at Endeavors agency.
