You are so beautiful. I could think of a thousand different ways to tell you just how beautiful you are to me and anyone who tells you otherwise is a goddamn fool.

Chapter 20

Chase was up before Charlie the next day, but he wasn't surprised. She had woken up a few times during the night and ended up with her head in the toilet bowl and he was there to hold back her shoulder-length blonde hair and put her back to bed. He carefully rolled out of the bed not to wake Charlie, to give her a few more hours of sleep.

He went over to his bag at the end of the bed and got some clothes out that he would wear today. They would have to leave around 9 am to get to the Hunter valley by Noon. Once there, they were to check into the villa they were staying at before meeting his sister and family for a Vodka taste testing along with lunch. He looked over to Charlie, hoping she would be feeling better by then, but he had his doubts.

He walked into her bathroom and took a quick shower, knowing he still needed to pack Charlie's things for her. He quickly washed his body before stepping out and wrapping a towel around his waist.

Looking in the overly large mirror on top of the double vanity, he stared at his face knowing he would need to shave for the wedding tomorrow. Chase quickly brushed his teeth and got dressed and when he came out of the bathroom Charlie was stirring.

"Hey." He smiled at her and noticed she didn't look as pale as yesterday.

"Hey." Her voice was thick and husky from sleep and sickness and Chase set himself a reminder to buy her some lemsip on the way and to pack a thermo-mug of hot water.

"I didn't want to wake you just yet but we need to leave in about an hour and I need you to tell me what to pack." He walked over and sat on the end of the bed and placed his hand on her leg that was under the covers. He watched as she coughed a few times and blew her red nose and he still found her beautiful even when she was sick.

"Okay. Let me take a shower. Just start packing me every day-to-day clothes. I'm not picky." He watched, and she slowly got out of bed and walked into the bathroom, closing the door behind her.

Padding across the carpet Chase walked into the overside closet and when he saw Landon's suits and clothes hanging up he had a sudden desire to burn them all. He knew he should feel guilty sleeping in another man's bed, staying in another mans house falling in love with another mans fiancé but he didn't care. Landon didn't deserve Charlie, so he didn't give a fuck if he was walking all over another man's territory.

Smiling, he walked across to Charlie's side and saw nothing but designer brands all stacked neatly. Looking at some clothes they still had tags on them and he knew Charlie would never wear and knew the only reason they were there was because of Landon.

Flicking through her clothes he grabbed out some tights and comfy shirts to the drive to and from the hunter knowing Charlie wouldn't be comfortable in jeans for the 3hr drive. He picked out some nice black jeans and nice shirts for dinner as there was nothing fancy they were doing. He made sure the pack some jumpers and scarfs which even those were designer brand.

He found nothing from target or god forbid Kmart and while Chase wasn't a clothing snob, there was enough Armani, Ralph Lauren, Prada and Chanel to make his eyes roll. He walked over to where the shoes were lined up and found rows and rows of Louboutin and Jimmy Choo. However Chase bi-passed them and grabbed some white joggers that he found sitting at the bottom and hidden behind them some old wore in converse.
