For all the love that this fic continues to receive, here are a couple of (tiny) parts that I had written down in different notebooks and found again recently, that never made it into the fic but that I figured I could share with you, as a kind of thank you.

Thank You.

Jungkook got the impression that Hoseok was relieved to see Jimin. He successfully understood that Hoseok was out of his element, not tired of Jungkook or wanting him gone.

All of Jimin's friends were remarkably patient. Thank goodness. Jungkook was improving, but still a bit slow on the general uptake. It only took his about ten seconds to register Hoseok's true reason for relief when Jimin walked in the door.

Then, when Jimin gently suggest he not sleepover but go back to his dorm room, Jungkook knew that meant Jimin trusted him to be alright. Jungkook appreciated that. Also, he wanted to curl up in Jimin's arms and never leave so nothing could hurt him.

Supposing Jimin was as perceptive as always, he knew all these feelings. And he was still sending Jungkook back to his room.

"When is your confidence in me going to run out?" He found himself asking plaintively when Jimin was saying goodbye.

"Never," Jimin said.

Jungkook couldn't help a smile of pride. "I don't want to go to class tomorrow."

"You and every other college student," Jimin said far too cheerfully.

Jungkook pouted at Jimin.

Jimin just laughed.

"To be bed, you big baby. I'll text you before I go to work, okay?"

"Goodnight," hyung."

"You should come to my house for spring break," Taehyung said from his spot next to Jungkook's ear.

There was a silence and a thump, followed by Taehyung saying, "Did you just drop your phone?" from his new spot on the floor.

Jungkook bent down and instead of standing up again, sat down on the floor next to phone-Taehyung, pressing the speaker button before answering, "Yes."

"Jungkookie," Taehyung scolded, though it sounded more like a hug than a real reprimand.

"Sor-, ah, I mean," Jungkook stammered. "I was just surprised, that's all."

"Take your time. I'll wait."

Jungkook imagined Taehyung getting comfy in his chair in the other end of the line. "Do you," he began slowly, "do you really think that's a good idea?"

"Yes."

That was a very definitive answer. Jungkook asked for clarification anyway. "Why?"

"Which why?"

"What?"

"Never mind, I'll answer both." Taehyung chuckled a little and Jungkook savored the sound. "Why do I want you to come? Because my parents would like to meet you, and I think you could use some time away, from not just college but also the air over there. And as for the second why, why do I think it's a good idea? I think you can handle it. And if you can't, you have me. And Jimin can come too, so you'll have him. I think it would be hard for you but good for you and you know that Jimin and I really want good things for you, Kookie."
