Reader POV
"Lolopechta!!" You knocked on her door.
She opened it with a smile. "What's up, (y/n)?"
"Nothing. I wanted to get to know you a bit,"
The female nodded and let you into her room.
"I'm not doing anything right now, but can you help me with my geography homework?" She looked away with a flushed face. "Undine would make fun of me along with Mother,"
"Sure." You summoned your grimoire. "Dark Magic: Map of Innocents."
The book opened and showed a hologram of the area.
"That's how I memorize the area," you said. "I just draw symbols."
Lolopechta nodded in slight understanding. "That makes sense. Wait, isn't that the Grand Magic Zone?" She pointed to the area between the Spade Kingdom and the other three kingdoms.
"Yes!" You smiled at the female. "Between you and me, the Grand Magic Zone has the best candies and dishes since all four Kingdoms have influence there,"
Lolopechta's jaw dropped. "You've been there?"
You nodded. "Don't tell anyone, though."
She pretended to zip her lips shut. "I won't, only if you promise to take me there one day!"
"Maybe," you said. "Anyways, let's go over the areas in terms of areal geography in each of the Kingdoms."
The morning was spent teaching her about the Geography of the four kingdoms. She was most knowledgeable in the area of the Spade and Heart Kingdom.
"I remember when I was five, Mother and her guards brought me to the borderline mountains. Across the Grand Magic Zone, I could see the winter world of the Spade Kingdom," Lolopechta said as you both walked to the dining hall to eat something.
"Lolopechta! (y/n)!" Dominita looked up in surprise when she saw the two of you together. "I had wondered where you went."
Servants provided a nutritious meal of meats and other dishes.
You ate what you put on your plate and took suggestions from Lolopechta and Undine.
Dominita was quietly studying you. "(y/n), your shoulder. It has the mark of a Spade,"
You nodded. "That's because my mother was Princess Anne of the Spade Kingdom,"
"So you do know some of the story," Dominita sighed. "It is not my place to tell the whole story."
You stared at her in curiosity but said nothing.
...
"Dark Magic: Wings of Lucifer." You and Jack were about to spar with another Stage Zero mage.
"Wind Magic: Spirit Dive." The mage had dark hair and green eyes. Her name was Storm.
"Wow, you have wind magic?" You stared at her in awe.
"Yeah," she laughed. "I'm surprised I got that since most of my family has either rock magic but I guess it makes sense since my grandmother has rock magic. Genetics, amirite?"
Then she turned serious. "Wind Magic: Breath of Zepher."
"Light Magic: Holy Grail of Love!" Jack shouted.
You closed your eyes. "Dark Magic: Dimension Slash."
Both of their attacks were sliced in half.
"Wow! No one except the Queen and Princess Lolopechta has been able to defend themselves from those two attacks at the same time!" Storm complimented. "Wind Magic: Spirit Storm!"
You sensed Jack behind you with his light magic. "Dark Magic: Demonic Scream of Hell."
Both of them were knocked out of the sky, but quickly recovered.
"I told you, she's hella powerful!" Jack shouted to his friend.
"Hmm...Wind Magic: Spirit's Hushed Dance!"
"Dark Magic: Black Hole."
The magic was condensed into the black hole and disappeared.
A few more attacks and you three were somewhat tired since you all started hard.
"I have to hand it to you, Sukehiro," Storm said as you hovered in the air. "Your magic is so cool! Demonic magic and dark magic combined! It's very rare."
"That's what I told you!" Jack shook his head.
"Are you guys..." you smirked.
Storm looked horrified. "Me? With him? Hell no. Besides," she sent you a wink. "I'm already taken. How about you?"
Jack sent you a flirtatious wink and smile. "Oh? Do tell us~"
"Sorry, I've already got someone." You laughed.
"Whose the lucky guy?" Storm flew closer as Jack sulked.
"Nozel Silva," You blushed.
Storm's jaw dropped. "Isn't his mother Acier Silva? The Steel Princess?"
You nodded. "She was,"
"Was?" Jack stopped sulking and stared in curiosity.
"She died in childbirth," you said. You had been sworn to secrecy that you wouldn't speak of Megicula and the Queen's curse unless you absolutely had to.
"Oh, I'm so sorry to hear," Dorthy took off her witches hat.
...
"Dad, I'm eating fine," you were calling your father and he was pestering you with questions.
"Good. I heard from Dominita that your magic is at the Arcane Stage. I'm not surprised since you use Dark Flames which is basically demonic magic along with Dark Magic."
You nodded. "How is everything back home?"
"Remember me telling you about Prickly Queen?"
You rolled your eyes. "You mean Charlotte Roseli?"
"Yep. I have a feeling she likes your old man,"
"Ew," you joked.
"Shush. I could go on and on about Nozel at the Magic Knight Captains meetings.'He constantly talks about you."
Your heart swelled. "Aw..."
"Listen, I miss you so much," He said.
"I miss you too, Dad."
"Now kick ass and make us proud. I need to take a dump-"
"Dad, I don't want to hear about your...golden time." You cringed.
"Whatever. See you, kid."
"Bye." You closed the communication device and called Nozel.
He wasn't picking up so you assumed he was doing paperwork and forgot his device.
On that note, you got ready for bed until you saw your grimoire glowing a demonic blue.
"(y/n)." Came a raspy voice.
"Who are you?" The candles in the room relit with the same blue demonic glow.
"I am Megicula. Your father."
