Anne POV
It's been about a year since I met Megicula in the forest.
I was going alone now since Loyce didn't feel comfortable near a devil.
"Hey, Anne?" Megicula looked at me. He was in his full demonic form. I didn't find him scary. He was still the same person.
"Hm?"
"I wonder what it's like to live in a palace," he said. "From here I can see the castle but I've never been inside it."
I smiled. "Well, you're in luck. Your best friend is actually the Spade Princess Anne."
Megicula's eyes widened. "I thought so."
"But how are we going to get you there? I know you need a host of some sort unless you are near the magic of this cave, or a five-leaf clover appears."
He looked away, blushing. "Well...I could just climb inside of you,"
I stopped playing with some rocks and stared at him.
"Crap! Not like that!"
I smiled sweetly. "I trust you, Megicula. If we ever did do that...stuff, there isn't a person I'd love to than you,"
His eyes glowed. "Then is it possible...? Do you...love me?"
I nodded with a blush. "I have for a while now,"
Megicula nodded. "I have too. Are you sure you want to do this?"
I nodded. "You make me happy and I want you to see my home."
Megicula transported back into the wolf and bit me. He whimpered apologetically.
I closed my eyes and felt his presence in me.
Can you hear me? He asked inside of my head.
"Yes," I said.
"Then it worked," he sighed gleefully. I picked up my four-leaf grimoire.
"Let's go home."
...
Your home is so big! How do you not get lost? Megicula said in my mind.
I grew up here, dumbass. I replied.
"Annie!" My mother looked up. "Where were you?"
Through my eyes, I knew Megicula could see her and everything.
"I was outside in the gardens,"
Mother sighed. "Let me guess. Running through the grounds like a scatterbrained child." She had a warm smile. "Go change before your father sees."
I turned around and walked away quickly.
Your mother seems nice, Megicula commented.
Once in my room, he took on his demon form, but something changed. Normally if he hit something with his body, it wouldn't move since he has no physical body.
Instead, he knocked over my crown and it dropped on the floor.
I picked it and stared at him. He stared equally in shock.
"Did I just-"
I nodded slowly.
I watched with amusement as he picked up various things around my bedroom and placing them back down.
"I'm so happy now," he smiled as he came over to me and pushed me against the wall. "Now I can do this."
My (e/c) eyes widened. Megicula the devil was kissing me. After holding it there for a few moments, he let go and smiled warmly.
"You've got no idea how long I've been wanting to do that," he sighed in content.
"That was wonderful," I breathed.
"So are we now mates?" Megicula asked hopefully. "In devil tradition, the first person he or she kisses and reciprocates feelings for are now tied together as mates for life,"
I smiled like a lovesick fool. "Of course, you dumbass." We kissed once more and it felt like heaven on steroids.
"Gods, I love you," Megicula kissed me countless times. "And yes, I know that we won't actually be doing the mating part until you are ready."
I laughed at him. "Yep." But then my happy expression faltered. "I'm not sure how my family will take this,"
Megicula wrapped an arm around me. "We'll think of something. After all, I'm never abandoning you."
"I'd expect nothing less."
Days passed by quickly and turned to months and I soon found myself in Megicula's arms as he took me.
He let out a low growl as I clutched onto his horns as he pounded into me.
He let out a groan as he emptied himself inside of me. "Shit, I'm madly in love with you, woman!"
I kissed him hard. "I love you too."
"If this is enough to make a baby, I hope he or she will prove to everyone that us devils aren't as bad as we seem,"
He nuzzled into my bare chest as we talked about our future.
During the day, he would hide in the shadows and whenever someone came into my room at night, he was back to the shadows. Otherwise, he was always nearby since the castle was filled with shadows of all different shapes and sizes.
As far as we knew, no one suspected that a devil was in the castle since he was using some kind of ancient magic to cut off someone's ki detectors.
The moon hovered above the world as everyone fell into a hushed sleep.
