Reader POV
(Timeskip of seven years)
Today, Noah was going to receive his grimoire. He was now 15.
Yukio was now 11 and Ace was 10, about to turn eleven.
No more children came after Ace and Yukio.
"Noah, are you ready to go receive your grimoire?" Nozel asked his son.
"Hell fucking yes!" Noah cheered.
You sweatdropped. "Noah, dear, you don't need to repeat everything Grandpa Yami says,"
Noah ignored you. "I wonder what grimoire I will get?"
"Young man, did you hear what your mother just said?" Nozel raised an eyebrow.
Noah nodded. "Yes, Dad. I heard. Now! Let's go! I want to meet Larcade and Nashi by the place so we can walk in together!"
"Do I have to wear this?" Ace frowned. She was currently dressed in a cute outfit similar to Noelle's outfit she used to wear in her teenage years.
You nodded. "Yes you do."
Yukio tugged at his collar. "Don't worry, Ace. You and I are in the same boat,"
"Let's go," You rode in Nozel's chariot to the grimoire library.
Noah ran off to meet with his friends Larcade and Nashi Dragneel.
You waved to their parents, Natsu and Lucy.
"Look, it's Wizard King Nozel Silva and his family!"
People waved to Nozel and all of you.
Ever since he became Wizard King, his attitude towards commoners and others was of the past. Now, he even welcomed visits to the castle to discuss propositions of the magic knights possibly traveling more to the common realms.
"Ah, look at all these young mages," the grimoire keeper Jasper grinned. "Here's how this is going to work! I call your names and you come to the center! A grimoire will present itself! Do not worry if it doesn't come automatically. There are more cases of anti-magic now,"
You watched with pride as each child was called up.
"Noah Sukehiro Silva!"
People watched eagerly.
They all wondered how powerful his grimoire would be.
At first, nothing happened and then a huge gust of wind blew all the candles out.
You turned to Nozel, a smile on your face. "This reminds of when I got my grimoire."
A grimoire that had a five-leaf clover presented itself in front of Noah and it had a silver cover and black edges..
"This is a new one! Combined magic of mercury and demonic magic!" Jasper called out. The lights came back on when Noah stepped out of the center.
"Larcade Dragneel!"
The blonde stepped into the center and a huge burst of light surrounded him.
A grimoire that had a four-leaf clover and golden edges.
"Light magic!"
"Just like Licht and the First Wizard King!"
"Don't forget that Jack person from the Heart Kingdom,"
Jasper called the pink-haired female. "Nashi Dragneel!"
A low rumble came and shook the grimoire library. An explosion of starlight came.
