Reader POV

(this takes place before you go to sleep for 10 years)

It was 3 am in House Silva.

I shared a look with the three younger Silva siblings who tried to contain their laughter as I slowly opened the door to Nozel's room.

I had just gotten back from a vacation with my father. All summer, I had been away and I knew Nozel missed me.

"One..."

Noelle and I grinned at each other.

"Two..."

Nebra and Solid nodded to each other.

"THREE!"

All four of us leapt onto Nozel's bed and used buckets of water to drench him.

The young teen opened his purple eyes and started cursing.

"What the fuck!"

We raced downstairs after I activated the trap.

Nozel took one step on a certain tile and a pie was thrown in his face. Before he could shout in anger, a bottle of spray started to spray water at his already drenched form. The silver-haired male concluded that it was dangerous to walk so he made some mercury wings- only for them to be tangled in a web of string.

"What the hell! It is three-am and-" the strings gave way and he fell onto his bed.

"I'M BACK!!!" I ran up, avoiding the traps, and hugging him.

Solid, the little seven-year-old, tried to turn on the lights so Nebra had to do it.

"(y/n)!" Nozel's face lit up. "What are you doing here?"

"I got back two hours ago from my vacation with Dad so I decided to bother you," I explained.

Then his face became annoyed. "Seriously? The first thing you do is set a trap?"

I nodded and ran my finger on his cheek, licking up the whipped cream pie. "Duh."

He frowned. "Seriously." Then he turned to his siblings. "Were you three in on it?"

Noelle was only a baby so she was innocent. Sort of.

"No-"

"Yes," Solid was laughing hysterically. "Brother, your face looks absolutely dreadful!"

'.'

Nozel was now cleaned up and he put his siblings back to bed.

"You're in for it now," he growled as he pinned me to the bed.

Reacting quickly, I took one of his pillows and slammed it in his face.

He grabbed the pillow and pinned my wrists to the bed above my head, using his body to keep mine down. His lips kissed my neck. "You shouldn't have done that. You're in for it now,"

I pushed him off me. "Hmm...nah."

"Oh, come on. You gave me a rude awakening. I should be able to do this," he teased.

"W-What are you going to do?"

"Let me show you."

He gently let go of my wrists, moved my shirt out of the way after discarding my cape fully. His lips attached themselves to my neck and he started sucking hard.

I let out a squeaky moan as he did so. "N-Nozel!"

"Keep it down," he teased, kissing the mark he made. "Wouldn't want the servants to hear you. It is, after all, almost time for them to wake up."

It had take a long time to clean everything up and get his siblings back to bed- in addition to cleaning him up.

His lips went lower and he sucked on my collarbone. His hair tickled me.

"Nozel, we can't!" I protested as he began to remove his shirt.

"Why not?" He paused and looked down at me.

I looked away with a flushed face. "We're 16!"

"I'm 17-"

"Nozel!"

He sighed. "I know, I know." Then he leaned down and kissed me feverishly. "But that doesn't mean we won't do it in the future."

I wanted to die of embarrassment. "Baka!"

---

Fuegeleon eyed my neck curiously. Nozel had specifically required me to wear something that would reveal my neck and collarbone.

"Did you guys do it?" My childhood friend asked.

When Dad found out when I went with Nozel to a captain's meeting at noon, he wanted to kill Nozel.

He didn't kill Nozel since I had explained the situation.

Dad, after listening, shrugged and made fun of Nozel and his stupid braid.

"No!" I screamed. "Nozel, give me your cape!"

"Absolutely not," he grinned.

"Rival, you and (y/n) are so weird," Fuegeleon walked off with a playful eyeroll.

When we got back to House Silva, I ran to Nozel's room, stripped, and put on his clothing since it was more comfortable.

When he arrived in his bedroom, he eyed his open wardrobe and me on his bed, reading to Noelle.

"Seriously stealing my clothes and bed?" He joked. "What else are you going to steal?"

"Your last name."

Nozel's face grew very red. It was literally only this morning when he gave me the promise ring that said (y/n) x Nozel , promising to marry me one day. [Who remembers those rings? It is mentioned on chapter 10😌🙏]

"I-" he looked away with a flushed face. "Smooth."

Mega timeskip

I looked over at Nozel who was currently tucking Yukio and Ace in their bed.

"Hey, Nozel?" I said quietly.

"Hm?"

"Do you remember when you gave me that promise ring?"

He smiled warmly. "Yes I do. We were outside on my balcony back at House Silva. I remember you had just come home from some sort of vacation and played a prank on me."

"It was a warm morning," we both said at the same time, smiles on our faces that were highly contagious.

"If my memory serves right, it was at 10:10 am," Nozel was saying.

"Yep!"

I brushed Ace's hair out of her eyes. She had a necklace that held my promise ring and Noah had Nozel's promise ring necklace. Yukio had gotten the very first gift Nozel had given me when we were children, which was a heart necklace made of pure silver.

"Wow, look how far we've come," Nozel said quietly as we closed the door and walked outside to the same spot where he had promised to marry me over a decade and some years ago.

I allowed him to wrap an arm around me as we watched a meteor shower, smiles on our faces as we remembered the distant memories.
