After all of her training had ceased, Tex, Lightning, and Jordyn made their way to Tex's office to talk about what he saw. "Jordyn you really have the talent of a champion racer. Rust-eze and Dinoco need someone like you to race for us. and with the season starting up just next month, we really would love to have race for us." Tex commented. Jordyn's eyes widened.
"Wait... Me, you want me to race? Really..." She paused and looked over to her dad.
"Hey you show that racing spark kiddo. It didn't come from me telling you to. You've shown it yourself."Lightning commented back. She gave him a smile and looked back at Tex.
"Then if it's me you want. You'll have me at my best. I will race for you." Jordyn cheered. Tex smiled, Lightning smiled too. Jordyn gave a nervous smile. She chuckled a little bit then took a big deep breath.
"You'll have to pick a number, then a design for it." Lightning remarked.
"That's right." Tex agreed. Jordyn looked at her dad and smiled. He smiled back. "I'll give you sometime to think about it." She looked around, thinking about what she was going to be.
"Nineteen." She shouted. "I'll be Nineteen." Her dad and Tex both smiled.
"That was my friend Bobby's number." Lightning replied. She smiled at and he smiled back.
"That's a good number kid." Tex replied.
"Now all I need is a really cool design for it." She said.
"Looks like your dream is coming true Jordyn." Lightning said. She looked at him and gave a big smile. He smiled back. Her childhood dream was coming true. Her dad knew she wanted to race. Like he said, she was the one that showed the spark to race. She was super excited to start her first season as a Rust-eze Dinoco racer.
"Let's go find a design for your racing season." Tex cheered. She was ready. Shortly after the three of them made there way out of the office to the main hall.
In Jordyn's mind things were running like crazy. One thing she knew was, times are changing. You better be ready for it.
