"Wow Jackson, another record broken. You've really gotten better." An operator commented. Jackson looked at them and smiled.
"As long as Cruz and Champ stay out of the way I should be good." He remarked. His eyes wandered to a picture of Cruz and Lightning. Cruz winning her first piston cups did Storm in the background. A sour look fell on his face. He turned away from the picture and went back to the simulator. "Champ is retired and Costume Girl is in another country." The tire clamps grasped his tires. "I can still focus on getting my title back." He gave a sinister smirk he turned his attention to the screen.
"Starting run 2. In 3,2,1.... run starts now!" An operator shouted. Storm's engine roared. And the simulator started up. Lap after lap, run after run, Storm pushed himself to break limits that have already been broken. "227 miles per hour... 226 miles per hour." The simulator called. All the operators looked at each other, they saw the determination on Storm's face. He kept pushing himself to be the best racer in the piston cup race. He was going make sure he was.
After a few hours of training himself, Storm came off the simulator and went outside. He drove to his trailer and backed in. He turned on his screen. And turned it to the news.
"Welcome back to Racing Sports Network. Let's jump right into it. Starting off with big name racer the number 95. Recently Lightning McQueen and his wife, mow have a handful. The two of them just had a little girl. His retirement call was to hope for more time with his new little gift..." Storm turned off the television.
"A kid. A kid!! That's why he retired. That's not a reason to retire. He's lost his mind." He shouted. His trailer left the IGNTR training center, he went back home. He looked at the picture of him and his family. He turned away from it. He couldn't let anything distract him. Not even family. Being a champion wasn't all that hard for him. Well really nothing was, expect his family, he'd been fostered since he was little, he never had a real family. Most of the families he had pushed him away. After years of not having a real family, it made him bitter, cocky, and angry. He had little faith in families, once you're in one the next thing you know you're out of it. He got jealous. He knew the family he had currently don't love him. He lost all trust in families after his own abandoned him years ago.
