"You're looking so good Jordyn." An operator commented. She looked over to the operator and smiled.
"Thank you." She replied. Her dad came over to her. "You look a little down and worried, what's up."
"Nothing, I'm fine." He remarked. The two of them drove over to the wind tunnels. She could tell that something was up but she didn't want to drag it out to him. She looked over to the wind tunnels and turned to get in. She took a deep breath and waited for the operators to start the tunnel up. The wind came through and her engine started. She revved up, and her wheels started turning. There was full concentrations in her face you could tell that there was something bothering her. But she didn't let that get to her head. she kept pushing herself to go fasted. She was always trying to keep herself in shape and ready for anything the world wanted to throw at her. That's how she's always been. She was always ready for the next race, turn, and new face that came her way.
After an hour in the tunnel, they stopped it and she got out. she was ready to hit the hay. she was ready to go home and give her wheels some rest. Next Sunday was going to be a ringer for her.She also had school the next day she had to get home for that reason. She looked at the clock and out to the training center, rolled onto the trailer and as soon and the door closed she went lights out.
No sooner than she knew Mack started coming to a stop. She was home. The door came down adn her dad got out then she did. The whole town could tell that she was tired. "For eight hours of non stop training she's all tired out." Lightning said looking the droopy Jordyn driving to her cone.
"I'll say." Sally replied. "She looks like you when she over works herself." Sally giggled and Lightning turned to her.
"She comes by it honestly. She really does." He replied.
"I know she does." Sally responded. She nuzzled up against him and gave a soft smile. Lightning looked over to her and smiled back the two of the drove to their cone and closed their doors and went to sleep. The next day Lightning was going to give Jordyn and break.
