Daddy's Little Racer.

Chapter 10

The green flag came out and the race started, It started like it usually did. Storm out in front and everyone else trailing behind him. Jordyn made her way through the crowd of cars on the track so she could see Storm. "Let's dig in." She said.

"Dig in you shall, Find him and chase him." Lightning commented back. Jordyn gave a smile and took off dodging car along the way.

"Hello again racing fans to Piston Cup qualifiers. Where today the top forty racers from this race will move on to the season. And boy we've kicked off with a great start. One of the more surprising things is we've received is Lightning McQueen Has returned to the track." Cutless Announced.

"His daughter Jordyn being out on the track to support Dinoco and Rust-eze. And man she's tearing it up." Cartrip replied. Everyone the stands chanted for the two out on the track. Most were chanting Storm's name the others were chanting Jordyn's. The two were bumper to bumper as they came to lap one hundred and ninety. Jordyn came up to the second place position and she was proud of it. All she needed to was place and she had a good chance to make the season.

"Hey, don't think you've made it yet. You've got to keep yourself there. Keep this line going kid." Lightning commented. Jordyn looked over to the pits and smiled.

"I won't let you down." She remarked. A spark had ignited inside of her, she glared at Storm's spoiler. They were coming up to the last lap of the qualifying race. She then had the desire to take the whole race by storm.

"Okay Jordyn, you have four turns left can you make it." Her dad commented. He cracked a smile and Jordyn could see it from the track.

"I'll be fine Dad." She replied. "I know what I'm doing." She backed off his bumper a little bit and slid on the out side of Storm. His eyes glanced over to her.

"Well you certainly can be a surprised for showing up the way you do." He said. She kept her eyes forward.

"The only thing surprising to you, will be seeing my bumper at the finish line." Jordyn said before taking off.

"You know you don't small talk with your rivals kiddo." Lightning remarked.

"You know me. I'm one making new friends I will always pull that." She giggled. She looked to the next turn, she was super excited, she might actually win. But there was a sound coming from the back of her. She took a peek at her mirrors. It was Storm. She started to pick up the pace and so did he. But she had the upper hand on him. She was way out in front of him. There was no way he could catch up to her.

"Here we are looking at the two racers up in front nose to nose McQueen and Storm." Cutless commented.

"Right you are. Bob I've never seen such heated racing like this. Let's hope it ends well for the both of them." Cartrip replied. Everyone in the stadium watched the two racers whiz passed them to the finish line.

"Their comin' in hot and... Jordyn takes the qualifying race. Storm in the second place position." Both of the announcers cheered. everyone in the stadium roared at the victory Jordyn fought for. All the racer made their way to pit road. As jordyn pulled into the pits everyone there congratulated her on the victory. Lightning came up to her and smiled.

"You proved him wrong Jordyn. You really did." He commented. She looked at him and smiled.

"Thanks Dad." She complimented. "But, I couldn't have done it without your help." He cracked a smile and so did she. Not a moment after all the reporters came driving after Jorydn and ask her question after her win. She gave a smile to all the reporters and answered all their questions.
