Monday was a little rough, Jordyn had a hard time focusing in her classes. She couldn't stop thinking about the next race the coming Sunday. But she would shake the thought and went back to focusing, the other cars at school didn't know what she did yesterday. And frankly she didn't care. Most of the cars there noticed that she was looking a little more confident in herself. She was smiling and trying to say hello to new cars. Jordyn was looking around fro new people to talk to and be by. She came to a group of cars talking about the race yesterday night.

"Did you see number nineteen blast passed Jackson Storm?" One of them asked. all of the others nodded.

"Man I really wish i could meet that car. They were really fast." Another commented back. Jordyn's thoughts swirled in her head, what was she going to say to these cars that she was the one that blew right passed Storm. She then figured out what she was going to say.

"Well I guess today's your lucky day." She replied. The whole group turned around to see who said that.

"Wait your telling us that you are number nineteen." The fan commented back.

"Yes. I'm Jordyn, Jordyn McQueen." She remarked. The all looked at her stunned. They all turned around to whisper to each other.

"We go to school with a McQueen!? Since when?" One whispered. They all looked at each other. And before any of them could get the chance to talk, the intercom went off.

"Jordyn McQueen please come the front office for check out, Jordyn McQueen please come to the front office for check out. Thank you." The office lady said.

"Guess I better get moving. My dad's waiting for me. Catch you later." Jordyn said driving away. All of them looked in wonder. One of their class mates was a racer. They watched Jordyn drive to the office and come out with her dad as they drove out the doors. All of their jaws dropped.

"Well who was that group you were talking to?" Lightning asked. Jordyn looked over to her dad and smiled.

"They're racing fans, they all watched my race yesterday." She replied. He looked  at her with surprise.

"Really? Well maybe when the tickets for next week's race come, you can give them to that group." He replied. She smiled and nodded.

"I was thinking about that actually. They seem to like watching me race." She answered. The two of them drove up onto the trailer and got onto the road to go train.

After a few hours of driving, They finally got to the training center and got inside. The usual people came and greeted them. Jordyn got suited up in the training gear, and went off. Tex came down to see Lightning. "Hey Lightnin', come take a drive and talk." Tex said. Lightning turned around and drove with Tex.

"What did you want to talk to me about Tex." Lightning replied confused. Tex looked over to him and smiled.

"Someone came to visit." He replied. "They said they were really good friends of yours." They continued down the hallway. And parked in the office were Finn McMissle and Holly Shiftwell, with Mater at their side.

"Well I'll be. Welcome to the Rust-eze Dinoco racing center you two." Lightning commented. "It's been too long since we've all been together, it's really nice to see you." All of them smiled when they saw each other.

"Well we have had Mater keep an eye on Radiator Springs Since we left." Holly replied. She gave a flirty look to Mater as he gave her one back.

"Have you two gotten closer? Or am I missing something.." Lightning confusingly remarked.

"No you are not missing anything. We picked up a urgent communication from Mater." Finn finally said. He rolled over to McQueen. "And I believe it could be a bad sign and  for all racers again."

"Axelrod's not back is he?" Lightning asked. Finn shook his head.

"We believe that some of his accomplices are. And we fear that the lives of all the racers this new season could be at risk." Finn replied.

"Are you asking to borrow Mater or something." Lightning joked.

"Pretty much." Mater replied. He looked over to Lightning with a smile.

"You know you don't have ask me, it's his life. Let him do what he wants." Lightning replied. Mater's face lit up. "It's his life guys." He looked over to Mater, "So what do you want to do."

"I think... I will help. I'll do it." Mater replied.

"Fantastic." Finn cheered. "Just let you know we will be keeping in contact with you through your headset. When that happens you'll just have to tell your daughter to not listen to you at that time."

"I got it. I will. Have fun Mater." Lightning replied. The three cars drove out of the training center and got into the jet and flew off. He gave a faint smile. Before driving back, he took a deep breath, and drove back up the hallway to the main training center to help his daughter.
