Y/n's P.O.V.

The hospital place I'm staying in isn't bad, but it's not the greatest either. I'm completely alone most of the time and it sucks. Teresa still hasn't come to see me and they won't let me see any of my other friends either. I've asked countless times for Thomas or for Newt or even Minho, but they keep saying I can't see them until they're done with their tests.

I wake up, eat, sit around bored for hours, eat, sit around, eat, and then sleep. It's extremely boring! There is nothing to do except sleep and stare at the plain white walls. My shoulder still stings when I move it, but it's bearable.

I've been trying to get a hold of Teresa, but nothing is working. I'm honestly starting to think she's ignoring me. Thomas talks to me whenever he gets the chance, which isn't often. We've talked twice, one of which was just him checking up on me really quickly.

I was sitting in my room when I heard a light knock on the door. I looked up to see the nurse walking in, two guards standing in the doorway behind her. She smiled as she walked into the room. She glanced at the machines next to me and faced me.

"So, Y/n... we're gonna need to run a few tests really quickly. It'll be fast, I promise."

Is that why she has guards with her? In case I run? I just nodded a little as I stood up. The floor was cold against my bare feet, and I almost lost my balance at first. In my defense, I haven't left the bed in days. I followed the nurse into the hallway, the guards following closely behind me. She led me down hallway after hallway. They all looked pretty similar, this place was like a huge maze.

We eventually came to a room with a table in the middle. I saw doctors all around, working on different things. Some looked at binders full of papers, while others inspected trays with assorted medical instruments on them.

I gulped as the nurse led me to the table. They weren't going to use those on me... were they? She motioned for me to lie down, so I did. The guards immediately forced my arms and legs down as the doctors strapped me to the table.

"H-hey! What- what're you doing?! Get off of me!" I yelled. I struggled and kicked and squirmed, but nothing worked. They strapped me down to the table and the guards stepped back a little. Then one of the doctors stepped forward, a sinister smirk on his face.

"Good evening, Y/n," he whispered down at me.

"What do you want?" I growled. He just chuckled and shook his head. I watched as another doctor handed him a big needle. "W-What is that?!"

He just pressed the needle into my arm. I felt as the liquid was injected into my body, and it burned. It felt like my arm was on fire, and it spread across my whole body. I felt like my whole body was on fire, and I could barely breathe.

"W-What did y-you do?!" I managed to get out through tears.

"You'll find out eventually," he said simply. I gasped for air and writhed in pain. Black dots clouded my vision, I knew I was gonna pass out. I tried calling out to Thomas or to Teresa or to anyone, but I couldn't. I couldn't even get the thought out, I was in so much pain. I finally gave in to the darkness, and allowed myself to drift off into nothing.

Newt's P.O.V.

Tommy was hardly making any sense, but he managed to get his point across.
