They walked into a tent and I followed suit. The woman halted her conversation as I walked in. "Y/n... it's so nice to see you!" she said, walked over to me and giving me a gentle hug. I awkwardly hugged her back.
"I know you don't remember me, but that's fine. We used to work together at Wicked," she said.

"We did?" i asked. The guilt immediately set in.

It was true? That I did this to my friends?

"You and Thomas were the ones who helped us." "What do you mean?" Thomas interjected. "You were our inside voices, our imposters. You helped us get into and stay away from Wicked's radar," she explained.
"So... we were good? We did good?" I asked gently. "Of course! All of Wicked's work is wrong but you two both realized how wrong it was and began helping us. But unfortunately that came with... consequences."

"That's why they sent us up..." i mumbled. "We were ruining their plans, weren't we?" i asked. She nodded and motioned for Thomas to sit on a small cot. Brenda lay on one nearby.

The woman, Mary, talked to us as she drew a small amount of Thomas' blood and worked on her temporary cure. She explained that an immune's blood could help hold off the virus for a short period of time.
As she finished, Thomas excused himself and went off to find the other Gladers. "You look so much different... so grown up," Mary said with a soft smile. "I wish i could agree," I said with a laugh.

"It's a shame, really. They were good at first, you know. I mean... they were doing really good things... but they lost their morals and goals along the way," she said sadly, moving and injecting the temporary solution into Brenda's unconscious body.
She moved to her desk and grabbed a small needle with a tiny lid on it. "I made a tad too much... this is about half a dose. Give it to her when the virus starts progressing again," she said as she gently placed it into my hand. I nodded put it in my bag.

I talked with her for several minutes longer, enjoying the company of my new friend. She seemed very caring and almost... motherly. I smiled at the thought.

"You should go find your friends, Y/n," she said suddenly, the smile on her face dropping quickly. "What?" I said softly, forcing the words out with confusion. "Go Y/n, your friends need you."
I wanted to question her further, but my answer came quickly after the words left her mouth. The distant humming sound growing closer could only be one thing- helicarriers. And from the sound it it, there were a bunch.

   Wicked had found us.

I nodded firmly and ran out of the tent. I almost immediately ran into someone running by with a large box in their hands. They quickly recovered and took off running again. "Sorry!" I called after them.

I looked around and saw the camp in complete utter chaos. "Hide Y/n!" Thomas called telepathically. "What? What's going on?" I called out to Thomas and Teresa.
I watched as hundreds of people ran about the camp, carrying boxes and large bags over their shoulders. Vince stood nearby, barking out orders.

It was dark by now, and there was a slight fog which gave the camp an eery vibe when combined with the screams coming from one far side of the camp. I heard the first explosion go off, several more going off after it. People screamed even more and started running even more frantically, if even possible.
"I'm sorry, Y/n," I heard Teresa whisper to me. "What? Why?" I called out to her several times, but she didn't answer. I ran in the direction of the screams, knowing my friends would be right in the middle of it.

"Thomas! Where are you?" I asked. "Doesn't matter. Run!" I could hear anger in his voice. I continued running for the chaos, pushing past all the frantic people trying to gather up their stuff.
