Oh yeah, you were in Health class. A total ocean of boredom. You were supposed to be working on your debate about diseases but instead, you were watching the good old news. I know, that's what old ladies do. But it was interesting.

Why?

Spiderman. Period dot with an exclamation point and a bunch of shocked emojis. Big shocker.

But seriously, he was holding a boat together that was split in half. How did that even happen? If only Peter was here, he and Ned were super obsessed with Spiderman. And now... how was he even doing it? You concluded a while ago, a couple of weeks after the hero first appeared, that he had super strength. But to what extent? Obviously, he could hold a boat that was full of water together. And he wasn't very good at it.

You had your screen split so that every time the teacher walked by you could flip it to your already finished paper. You had to resist the urge to make the video on full screen as Iron Man flew into the scene and started fixing the mess spiderman had caused. You were basically internally fangirling because that was Tony Stark!

Well aware of what was happening, you left the class as it had finished. You hurried to the detention room to see if Peter had returned. Which he hadn't but whatever. That was his problem, not yours. And seeing as it was his problem and his problem only you took it upon yourself to fix it by leaving school as soon as the last bell rang.

Pulling out your phone, you shot him a text, asking where he was. After a few minutes of it being left unread, you decided to hunt him down by going to his house. You waited and waited and waited. You went home first, ate dinner and continued to wait before going over there.  Of course, you'd been there enough to find it on your own. It only took a few minutes to get to the apartment.

You took the elevator up, finding yourself on his home floor. You scurried up to the front door where you paused. Not even knocking.

You could hear inside. But nothing was really going on. It sounded like May was cleaning, maybe dishes or something. But no talking whatsoever. You gathered up the courage to raise your hand to the door frame and rapping your knuckles against it. You heard something break and May cursing aloud to herself. Then you heard her footsteps coming closer and closer till she finally opened the door.

"Y/n!" She said in surprise. "Hi? What are you doing here?" She asked kindly, adjusting her large glasses that were drawing near the end of her nose.

"Hi, May. Um.. is Peter here?" You asked. May's smile faltered slightly.

"Oh... You know, he's not really having a great day right now. I think he wants to be alone. Did you text him?" She asked, tilting her head slightly.

"Yeah, I did, its unread." You reported. "Is something wrong? What happened?"

"Maybe he'll talk to you. It just... he just lost something important to him. He won't tell me much." May replied. "He just now got home."

"Yeah, I'll talk to him if he'll let me. But I can leave-"

"No no, it's fine. Come on in." May let you inside the apartment. She had you follow her to his bedroom. "You want some eggrolls? They're like... an hour old... actually maybe you don't..."

"I'm fine." You said with a sheepish smile. May nodded and stepped up to his door, giving it a knock.

"Peter? Are you all right? Y/n's here." She said into the door. Peter took a while to respond. The door swung open and there he was, in Hello Kitty pajamas and a white "I Survived my Trip to NYC" T-Shirt.

"Y/n?" He asked hesitantly as he lay his eyes on you. He seemed taken aback. Maybe surprised you were actually there or questioning why you were here a 9 o'clock. "Oh..."
