When I arrived on my destination, I immediately hopped out from the jeepney then went to the nearest coffee shop. I switched on my phone then found out that I' m thirty minutes earlier from my actual time.
I decided to order my favorite coffee then went back to my seat. I unlocked the password on my phone and started scrolling on the twitter. Oh! So it' s Nickhun birthday today, why I didn' t remember it? I instantly retweet their greetings then comment a heart emoji three times before finally retweeting it.
Hindi pa tapos naglo-loading ang retweet ko nang biglang tumawag si Jungmin kaya agad ko itong sinagot. Nandito nadin siya?
"Sweet, nasa' n ka? . . ."
"Nandito ako sa coffee shop malapit sa mall, nasa' n ka rin?" I stood up and decided to bring the coffee with me at umaktong umalis sa shop.
"Find me at the fountain site, meet me there . . ."
Agad niyang pintutol ang linya.
Ha, sa fountain site? Meron ba dito?
I deliberately asked some people I met on the pathway about the said site at may isa sa kanila' y tinuruan ako sa directions. Agad akong nag-thank you sa kanya at dali-daling tinungo ang sinasabing site ni Jungmin.
I tried calling him again and he immediately answered it. I sighed in relief because I thought he was just going to abandon me all along while waiting for me to arrived on the said site.
"Nasa' n ka, Jungmin. Nandito na ako sa fountain?" Direktang tanong ko.
He didn' t answered back.
"J-jungmi–"
"Move to left, Sweet . . ."
Dahan-dahan kong iginalaw ang katawan ko sa kaliwa at paglingon ko ay ganun din ang pagkawala ang rumaragasang tubig mula sa itaas. And there I saw him, leaning the phone on his ear while smiling widely at me. He was wearing a plain baby blue short sleeve mating with a cargo pants.
My heart skipped a beat at nagmadali akong tinungo ang kinaroroonan ni Jungmin. Then I hugged him very tightly while some tears falling from eyes. The rays of sun softly kissed both me and Jungmin.
It' s been a while since the last time we meet . . .
