-Samantha-
I sneak behind Sadie and Davy into the tv room. She pushes him onto the couch. They're so freaking cute together, I think.
"What movie are we watching Blondy?" Davy asks Sadie. I jump in between them on the couch.
"Let's watch the notebook." I say, they both look at me and laugh. "I'm serious, it's a good movie."
"We are not watching the notebook." Sadie says. Davy laughs.
"I'm gonna get stuck watching a romance movie, ain't I? Davy says. Sadie and I nod.
"How about Napoleon Dynamite?" Sadie suggests.
"Funny, stupid, and random." Davy says, "Let's watch it."
"I'm in," I say. Sadie jumps up and finds the disk in our huge pile of movies. She slides the disk into the DVD player. We really need to upgrade our set-up in here, I think. She presses play and trys to sit next to Davy, I sit on her, she moves, with a sigh.
"You were the one who wanted us to kiss, so why are you trying to separate us?" Davy asks.
"I am not gonna watch you two kiss the whole movie," I say, making a fake barf sound.
"We won't, promise, this movie is too funny to not watch." Sadie says.
"Okay," I get up and move so that they can sit next to each other. They have only been this close for two days. But known each other before I lived in the same house as Sadie. They'll b egood together.
"Okay, Samantha's in here too, good." My mom walks into the tv room as we watch Napoleon drag his action figure behind the school bus. I'd seen this movie hundreds of times.
"Yep, I'm gonna keep them in line," I say. They both roll their eyes at me.
"Good, now, where is everyone sleeping?" My mom asks.
"Good question." Sadie says.
"How about you all set up in here, assuming that Sam is gonna hang with you guys?"
"Duh," Sadie says.
"One thing, I don't want Sadie and Davy sleeping in the same bed got it?"
"Ya. Got it." I say. I look at Sadie and Davy who just laugh as if it was no question. They obviously wouldn't have slept together even if they were allowed to.
"Okay. Mom, you can leave now, we got a movie to watch."
"Okay, goodnight you all." My mom says and walks out of the tv room. We all turn back to the movie to see Napoleon feeding Tina his leftover casserole. We all start laughing at, "Each your food Tina." And Adam walks in, and, just as always, he wants nothing but trouble.
