-Davy-
I place my arm around Sadie as we continue to watch our movie. Out of the corner of my eye I see Adam come into the room. What does he want? He sits down on the opposite end of the couch, next to Sam. Sam let's out a sigh.
"What are we watching?" Adam asks. He has the same smirk he always has on his face.
"Napoleon Dynamite, you idiot." Sam says, shooting glare at him. If he's gonna talk the whole time, I'm out. I think. Adam just rolls his eyes.
"What are you doing in here anyway?" Sadie asks, her eyes not leaving the screen, but there's obvious exasperation in her tone.
"I actually wanted to talk to Davy." Adam says, looking at me. This guy, he's older than me, but a wimp.
"We're watching a movie," I say. Adam gives me an eyebrow, showing that it wasn't a question. I roll my eyes. "Fine I'll be right back." Both Sadie and Sam nod. I get up and follow Drake out of the room. I can see a look in his eye that shows that he's up to no good. This guy, what's his problem with me?
"Dude? What is your deal?" I finally say, he's leading me through the back door, through their kitchen. What the-?
"So, what the f*** is your problem?" Adam says, and I am honestly shocked.
"My problem?" I say. "What's your problem with me? All you've done is stare me down since we met."
"You're freaking f***ing my sister!" He yells, it's a good thing that we're outside.
"Dude, I am not!" I yell back, I can't help but get defensive at this point. "We've kissed, that's all." Adam raises an eyebrow, not believing me. "And last time I checked, you don't care about her, that's what she told me. I hear that you push her around."
"And why do you think that I give her a hard time?" Adam says, but his voice is quieter. "I care about Sadie, Davy. And I don't need a Cole doing whatever with my sister."
"She doesn't view it as your caring, both you and Sam would make her cry! She talks to me Adam, and before Sam changed, you both made her feel like nothing." I say.
"And you don't think I'm sorry?" Adam fires back.
"It sure doesn't seem like it." I say. "And what do you have against my family?"
"As if you don't know."
"I really don't." I say, I think. What on earth is he talking about? What happened between the Coles and the Andersons? Wait, two years ago. No-it couldn't have been. When he was f***ing my sister? Could it? "Is this about Kate?"
"No, duh," He says. "You Coles always are after f*** buddies."
"We are not, and you hurt my sister just as much as she hurt you, so don't talk about her like that!" I yell, my voice raised again.
"She's not the only f***er in the Cole family!" He yells. He means me, oh is he gonna get it. I'm just about fed up with him. I clench my fists.
"That was uncalled for, and you know that." I say, my voice now calm, but my eyes are flaring. I take a step toward him. I'm a few inches taller than him, regardless of the fact he's older. He steps back, but I grab the collar of his shirt. I lean closer to him, there's nothing but fear in his eyes now. "I dare you to say that again."
"Adam!" Someone yells, "Davy! Put him down!" It's Sam and Sadie running out of the house. I drop Adam, he falls to the ground.
"I didn't mean it." Adam says, "I'm sorry, I'm just- I'm still mad at the past."
"You better be sorry, or I'll make you a whole lot sorrier." I say, I look at Sadie, she seems scared, but thoughtful. I try not to let people see this side of me. People tend to judge.
"What the f*** just happened out her?" Samantha demands. "We could here you two yelling from the tv room!"
"Nothing, we are all good now." I say, "I'm sorry, Adam, I hope you can forgive me." I put my hand down to him, still on the ground. I pull him up.
"I needed that, I don't get put in my place often enough," he says. He slaps my shoulder. "Especially by someone who's younger than me." We both laugh, the girls, just give us stares of disbelief.
"And guys say that we're the confusing sex." Sadie says, grabbing my wrist and pulling me back inside, with Adam and Sam following behind us.

Back in the tv room we finish the movie. It's almost ten-thirty. We have school tomorrow. But we have all been laughing since the movie ended, by we, I mean, me and Adam. Sadie and Samantha still seemed confused from what happened outside. They look bored.
"Are we boring you?" I ask, looking at them.
"Yes," Sadie rolls her eyes. "Do you guys wanna play Truth or Dare?"
"You mean the game that we used to play when we were just bored middle schoolers?" Adam asks.
"Yes." Sam says, "but what's the difference between crazy middle-schoolers and crazy high schoolers?"
"Okay, who's going first?" I ask.
"I will." Samantha says. "Sadie, Truth or Dare?"
"Truth." Sadie says.
"Did you and Davy actually kiss, or are you just saying that you did for me?" Sam asks, with a grin. Sadie rolls her eyes.
"Yes, we did Samantha." Sadie laughs. I look at her. I smile. She looks back at me. We're thinking the same thing.
"We could kiss right now, if you want?" I ask, with a smirk. Sam grabs a pillow and hits me with it.
"I don't want to see you two making out!" She yells. What a shame.
"Are we gonna keep playing or not?" Adam asks, while laughing.
