-Davy-
I swing my fist into Trevor's jaw and he stumbles backward. A grin is in my face and he seems afraid now, but that doesn't stop him from coming at me. He swings at my face, but misses, hitting my shoulder. This will be quick. He then grabs me in a head lock and whispers into my ear,
"She's mine, not yours, Davy." And I know it's a threat about Sadie. He's freaking jealous. Trevor is jealous of me. I think, he wants Sadie. I whisper back, making sure that only he can hear me. "No, she's not. And if you lay one finger on her, I will make sure that you will never be able to f*** another girl ever again." And, with that, I pull him over my shoulder causing him to flip over me, landing on his back on the ground in front of me. "Dumbass." I say, walking back to my friends, their eyes filled with shock. I see Andrew helping Trevor up as we walk away. I hear Cassie yell,
"That's right, you leave, you f*** off!" And I just see Sam stop and turn. She yells back,
"You lost Cassie, so shut the f*** up." But she sounds calm and confident. She turns back and Cassie begins to say something else, but Samantha just gives her her favorite finger. We continue walking, and then burst out laughing.
"Did you see the look on their faces?" Sadie asks.
"Or the way they shut up?" I say. We all keep laughing, and the bell rings for school. We walk in together. Adam waves as he walks to another building. We wave and walk into the school.

The morning flies by. I don't have any classes with Sadie, but she's all I can think about. At lunch I find Sadie and Samantha at a table, they wave me over. I sit, they're in the middle of a conversation.
"I mean, that's pretty suspicious." Sam says. They look at me and stop talking.
"What's suspicious?" I ask, curious. Sadie doesn't look at me.
"Nothing." Samantha blurts. Her voice then quiets, "it's just- uh-"
"Just a new kid at school, he moved in on our street over the weekend." Sadie says.
"Oh. He?" I raise an eyebrow. Who is this guy? Why did they get quiet? What was suspicious! Sadie nods, suddenly the whole cafeteria is silent.
"What the-" I start, but Sam puts up a hand to shush me. I look where every eye in the room is. A kid walking into the cafeteria. A new kid. The guy who moved onto our street. I clench my fist. It's my freaking cousin, Reid Cole. What the actual f***?

I shoot a look at Sadie, but she's staring at him. Great, now he's here to steal my girlfriend. Woah, did I just say that? And, speak of the devil, Reid sees me. He begins to walk over, waving. He's always been better than me, he knows it too. He's taller, stronger, more attractive. He had green eyes, while I have blue. He rides a motorcycle everywhere, while I drive my sister's car when she isn't using it. He where's a leather jacket while I wear a hoodie. He's your typical bad boy, and I'm just...me. He approaches, sitting next to me. Sam is frozen, so is Sadie. They don't understand how I know this person. This guy always gets everything he wants, now he's gonna get Sadie. He's already eyeing her.
"Sadie, Samantha." I say, they are still staring. I know he's attractive, but they could at least show some self-control. "This is Reid Cole...my cousin." Sadie snaps out of her trance and stares at me in disbelief. I know, I know. How could we be related when he's so much better looking. I mean, if I wasn't straight and he wasn't my cousin... Just kidding, but seriously.
"I'm Samantha, my friends call me Sam." Samantha says, still looking, a little less intently, at Reid.
"Hey Sam," Reid says. "And you must be Sadie?" He looks at Sadie, who looks from me to him. "Kate told me all about you this morning." He says, I can see Sadie shaking. So you should know to back off, Reid, I think. Sadie never looks at me like that. I'm jealous, won't even try to deny it. If Reid lays one finger on her, I'll-
"So, how's it going cuz?" Reid turns his attention to me.
"It's good, you? I thought you weren't supposed to get here until tonight."
"We came early and wanted to surprise you. Hey, I saw you beat up that kid in the hallway, wasn't that Trevor?" He asks, I nod numbly. "Wow, why'd you get so mad?" I don't want to answer, but know I have to. I look at Sadie. She's looking at him, of course. I roll my eyes and sigh. Luckily the bell rings, freeing me from the question. I get up and pull Sadie with me out of the cafeteria. I ignore Reid's yells after me.
I pull Sadie to my locker and stop, opening it and getting my books. She crosses her arms across her chest.
"What's wrong?" She asks, "I know it has to do with Reid." I roll my eyes.
"Ya it does, you were just staring at him. Like I wasn't there." I say, not meeting her eyes, but I can feel her glare on me. "He always gets what he wants." I mumble, so she can't hear. Sadie reaches down and grabs my face in her hands. She looks into my eyes.
"You aren't, jealous, are you?" She says with a smirk but seriousness at the same time. But she doesn't wait for an answer. She pulls her face to mine, our lips touching. And next thing I know she's kissing me. She pulls me closer and my hands find her waist. I pull her close to my chest. Her hands find my hair and I feel like I'm in another world. Her touch burns my skin and I feel cold as she pulls away. She looks into my eyes. She then leans closer to my ear,
"I wouldn't have kissed you like that if you had a reason to be jealous." She pulls away, and I'm in a trance. Beat that Reid! She wants me. And I can't help but smile at her words. She kisses my cheek and heads down the hallway to class. I'm left in the hallway, with the feeling of her left with me. I turn to get my books and head to class.
