"I just can't get over how grown up you are. And so gorgeous."

The twins met up with their father at a local diner where they were going to have dinner at. Elena and Charlie has been to the diner a numerous amount of times but this was Bella's first time since she hasn't been to Forks in years.

"Hey Bella. You remember me?" Elena immediately recognized the voice of her father's friend Waylon. Bella looked to her sister and dad for support but didn't respond. Elena had already started to eat her fries not wanting them to get cold.

"I played Santa one year." He laughed trying to jog her memory.

"Yeah, Waylon she hasn't had a Christmas here since she was 4." Charlie answered for his daughter not wanting her to get embarrassed.

"I bet I made an impression though didn't I?" He looked at Bella trying to get her to laugh. Elena feeling her sister's discomfort and Waylon trying to make a joke caused her to laugh on her own.

"You always do." Elena answered before shoving a fry in her mouth. Bella let out a laugh with her sister before turning back to the two adults in front of their table.

"Buttcrack Santa." Cora answered looking at the Swan girl. Bella let out another laugh at the thought of this guy as Santa.

"Aye. Kids loved those little bottles though." Waylon told The waitress Cora.

"Alright. Let's let them eat their burgers Waylon." Cora grabbed his arm and slowly pushed him away from the girls. "As soon as your done I'll bring you both your favorite. Berry cobbler remember? Tour dad still had it. Every Thursday." Both girls let out a giggle and nodded.

Elena grabbed the ketchup bottle and put more ketchup on her plate before putting it back where she grabbed it from. Bella and Charlie both reached for it at the same time and pulled their hands away. Bella was going to let her father take it but when he grabbed it he placed it in front of his daughter.

"Thanks." Instead Charlie grabbed Barbecue sauce and placed it out on his plate.

"How was your first day at school?" He asked his twin girls. Elena had taken a bite of her burger and looked up at her dad with a mouthful. Charlie raised an eyebrow at her and she swallowed her food down.

"It was fine." Bella answered. Elena looked to her sister and could feel the nervousness radiating off of her.

"Any new friends?" He tried to get a conversation to keep going trying to get them to talk for a while.

"Yeah a few. Maybe like 4 or 5." Elena spoke up before continuing to eat.

"Everyone knew who we were already though." Bella ate a fry not feeling the need to have a conversation.

After an hour of awkward conversation and eating all three Swans went home. Both girls were in their rooms studying. Elena had finished talking to her mom and knew that she would've called Bella next.

Elena was struggling with a question before her cell phone rang next to her. Elena picked it up and since she didn't recognize the phone number that was calling. She was hesitant on whether she should pick it up or not but decided that she should find out who it was anyway.

"Elena speaking how may I help you?" She placed the phone to her ear while she was fumbling with her pencil.

"If you're stuck on question 12 then the answer is 26." The voice on the other end answered.

"Alice? How did you-"

"Get your number or know the answer? Well that my friend is for me to know and you to figure out." The girl on the other end laughed.

"Okay then." Elena laughed, "what's up?"

"Nothing. Rose and I were wondering if you'd like to come over Saturday. I know we said we would talk tomorrow and we definitely can but after we go shopping on Saturday you can come over and we can have dinner here. My parents are already so excited to meet you already." Elena froze up. It hasn't even been 24 hours and Alice already talked to her family about Elena?

"Oh wow. That's great. I'd have to talk to my dad about it but I'd love to go." Elena answered with shock.

"Great! I'll see you at school tomorrow!" Alice's voice was clearly eager for the next few days. She quickly hung up and Elena placed her phone down and smiled.

Elena had friends on her first day of school that weren't already friends with her sister as well. Elena remembered the answer her friend gave her and quickly wrote it down on her paper before closing her textbook and decided she wanted to get some sleep for tomorrow.
