"Please be nice."

Elena asked her father. Of course the day he decided to clean his guns was the day Jasper decided to meet him.

"Am I never not nice?" He asked her.

"Dad please? I really like this guy." She pleaded.

"Yeah yeah." The two heard a knock at the door and Elena rushed to open it.

"Aren't you fast." Jasper teased while laughing.

"Oh shush. Please be nice." Jasper smiled.

"Yes ma'am." He let his southern accent show making Elena smile. She took his hand and led him inside her home.

"Dad. This is Jasper." Jasper took a step forward and shook Charlie's hand.

"I'm Jasper Hale, sir." Charlie nodded in response.

"I'm Charlie although I'm sure you already knew that." He sighed.

"Yes sir. Elena here speaks very highly of you." Jasper motioned to her.

"She does now?" Charlie raised an eyebrow to his daughter jokingly.

Elena placed a hand over her heart, "did you think I talked down about you? How dare you think such a thing." She turned around and crossed her arms.

"That's my daughter. Always dramatic. Good luck with that Jasper."

"Hold up!" She turned back around causing Jasper to laugh.

Charlie ignored her before turning to Jasper. "You seem nice. Let's keep it that way."

Jasper nodded holding back a smile. "Yes sir. Without a doubt."

"Okay well we'll be leaving already." Elena hugged her father. "I'll see you later daddy." She kissed his cheek and dragged Jasper out of the house.

"Goodbye Mr. Swan." Jasper called.

"Hey Jasper?" Elena asked as they pulled up to the Cullen home that she was so fond of.

"Yes, Elena." He answered.

"How did you all become what you are?"

Jasper didn't speak. Instead he left the car and opened Elena's door. It took him less than a second to reappear in her vision. He held his hand out for her to take and the second she did he pulled her up and an inch away from him. "I think it's best if they tell you that on their own.

He picked her up bridal style and took her inside to the room right next to where Rosalie was. Of course Elena wanted to evesdrop on her sister without her knowing.

"It's just I know you don't eat." Bella stuttered.

"Of course that's very considerate of you." Esme smiled lightly at Bella.

"Just ignore Rosalie I do." Edward told Bella.

"Yeah! Let's just keep pretending that this isn't dangerous for all of us." Elena heard Rosalie yelled.
