"IT'S ALMOST the end of the year, and our Final semester exams had just begun. Everything has been pretty crazy lately. All the rough nights and fear of failure had us turning nights into mornings and afternoons into Evenings.

I didn't really have a lot to cover for since my level of concentration in class was a thumbs up and if I were to close the lesson without listening then it would mark the beginning of my miserable fate.

However there was one or two subjects I struggled with. Mathematics and Accounting. Oh how I hated numbers but it's what I'd signed up for.

I would always imagine my future, how it would look like five years from now, maybe be an exceptional Accountant handling my Mom's businesses. Sealing deals and traveling the entire world in my private Jet. Being an independent woman that Men feared. They say dreams are for free right, well I'm about to chase mine. And my face danced in amusement as I chuckled to the thought.

"Someone's in the mood" Ashanty teased after having a moment of complete silence and observation.

"Huh?" I slowly amended off my imaginations and moaned in hallucination.

"Why are you smiling girl?" Ashanty beamed not leaving me alone.

"Yeah tell us! You seemed so far away. Is this about my brother ?" Ellena chuckled with happiness marked all over her chubby face.

"Shush Ellena!" I lectured goofing my eyes at her. Ashanty had no idea that I had a thing going on with Ellena's brother. I just figured it was better I don't tell her, or she would never let me rest.

"W-wait? You mean Adrian, Adrian?" Ashanty blinked her eyes in total confusion.

"You have a big mouth Ellena!" I lectured yet again.

"I'm sorry, I mean what else could steal your thoughts so far away"

"What's going on between you two? I mean Amber and Adrian really" Ashanty queried suspiciously.

"Yeah you seem shocked"

"I am. I mean Adrian has been my Crush ever since Junior years. I mean he's every girl's dream. He's so hot as hell. Ellena remember when Charlet used to come do her homeworks at your house?"

"Yeah" Ellena shaked her head in agreement.

I raised an eyebrow traveling my eyes to and from both of them. Now being the lost sheep.

"She was crazy about Adrian. And she came there everyday just to see him. You helping her out with her assignments being an excuse."

"Wait, you mean to tell me Ellena and Charlet where once Besties?" I raised yet both my eyebrows again in total confusion.

"Kind of but more like a one sided beneficial kind of relationship. She was only using Ellena to get to Adrian but Adrian didn't play like that. He had his tastes. Although almost ninety percent of the girls in school admired him, he cared less about any of them. It was when he completed his Senior year when Charlet started bulling Ellena." Ashanty Explained plainly.

"I mean how can anyone be so mean?"

"Wow, girl you're lucky. Adrian is every girl's dream"

"Yeah I don't know, it's not really official yet. I mean we went out on a couple of dates and he always helped me with my Mathematics assignments. He's a good statistician I guess." I beamed lightly, actually starting to feel high class already. Not a chance I thought.

Ashanty sat quietly for a moment pretending to focus back to her books, but she kept tossing and turning the pages. "I think I should go home"

"Is everything okay?" I ask.

"Yeah, just a little bit tired"

"Well are you done with all your chapters already?"

"Just two more left. I'm gonna finish them all tonight"

"What about the questions? I thought we were gonna ask each other questions and go through old question papers?" I bit my lip as I lifted my eyes up to Ashanty, who stood closing her books off into her back pocket.

"Well we can do that tomorrow. I'll come early to your place or you could come to mine. But my house is a little too suffocating. Since my annoying step Dad will be home the whole day tomorrow" She sighed.

"You can come crash here."

"Well, I'll see you guys tomorrow. I'll bring more snacks" She chuckled and Ellena beamed at the idea.

It's only been an hour and Adrian pulled up to my place to pick Ellena up.

"There comes my little sister and my beautiful princess" Adrian joked as we reached over to his car.

"Hey Adriano." I greeted romancing him with a kiss on his cheeks.

"Hey Princess. How did the study session go?"

"Educational" I giggled happily. He always makes me giggle. His appearance is too charming and comforting.

"Well I can't wait to see you after your exams" He shot me a half blink and Ellena moved over to take her seat in the car. Leaving me alone with her handsome brother.

"Just one more week" I leaned on his shoulder peacefully as he hugged me comfortingly.
