A lot has happened after Ellena's first date with Daren, Communication between them became scarce but life went on.

Ellena has been experiencing some strange things happening around her compound. She felt like she was being followed the entire time and it scared her to death.

"Maybe I'm just hallucinating" She said.

"When was the last time you had a really peaceful sleep Ellena?." I asked.

"When I was two years old I guess" She joked.

"But seriously Amber. I swear I saw a shadow at my window last night and everytime I roamed along the streets I felt like I was being watched."

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"

"W-what?"

I raised my brow at her, trying to convince her that maybe it was Darren.

"No, Ah-Ah" She shaked her head in complete disagreement. "I don't think Daren is in town. I mean why would he spy on me?"

"Cause he's a freak"

"Amber you talk like you haven't seen him. I mean did you see how Cute and matured that guy is?"

"Yeah I know, but you can't really judge someone because of their appearance. I mean we all wear masks."

"Will you STOP! Please just stop Amber, I don't wanna hear more of your negative thoughts" She yelled and I zipped my mouth silently. Maybe I was being too judgemental and maybe I have judged Daren enough. But if anyone was really following her, it could only be him. I would say Charlet but Charlet wasn't that desperate. She's crazy but not that kind of crazy.

"Shush" Ellena Shushed me placing her finger onto her lips.

"What?"

"I thought I heard a Camera flash"

"I don't think you heard right. Its Its quiet out here and nobody really knows about this place except the two of us."

"I think I'm going crazy" She cried out loud after yet another illusion of footsteps moving away from us.

"I think you should go back to the gym. Just to get your mind right"

"Sounds like a good idea."

"Let's go grab some icecream " I chuckled.

We roamed around the City mall happily. Took a lot of goofy pictures and went to all the places we wanted to go but never had time to. And did all the things bestfriends do.

We didn't see how the day went by so fast until the sun's rays became week and orange. We sat at the hill next to Ellena's house and watched as the Sunset lights cascades off the streets. I observed different colours in the sky, usually those that felt out of place, the ones that don't belong and the Universe felt magical.

The fresh air of the wind beating our faces and blowing my hair to the back felt magical. Eventually the evening slowly turned into the dark night as we said goodnight to each other.

After I had my dinner, I felt pulled to the night sky again and there I was at the window of my room, cascading my eyes up to the twinkling sky and feeling at peace at last.

I felt like all the heavy waterfalls were raised from my shoulders and a feeling of sand dunes lightly surpasses me.

The night was dark and wild but my sleep felt like that of the sleeping beauty.
