Chapter 31

The sun is heating Steph's face the reason she woke up from her sleep.

Ramdam nya ang sakit ng kanyang ulo. Naalala  tuloy nya ang paginum nya kagabi.

But after lifting her hand to hold her head and sitting on the bed she felt sore especially down there.

Napamulat ng mata si Steph at biglang nagsink in sakanya ang nangyari sakanila ni Troy.

She was naked under the sheet at tinignan nya ang paligid. Nang walang bakas ni Troy sa loob ng kwarto ay agad syang nakahinga ng maluwag.

Kahit hirap ay tinungo nya ang banyo para makaligo. Natagalan sya dahil bukod sa masakit ang katawan ay hindi nya alam paano haharapin ang asawa.

She still hates him but would he still believes her when she enjoyed the great sex with him last night?

When she went outside ang sya din pagpasok ni Troy sa kanilang kwarto.

"Hey" bati nito na di naman matignan sa mata ni Steph.

"Your clothes are still inside the cabinet same place like before. Dinagdagan ko na din, konti lang kasi naiwan mo ng umalis ka" pagpatuloy nito.

"Troy kindly please leave me for a second?" awkward na pakiusap ni Steph. She only have towel wrap around her body and no underwears underneath it.

Nahalata naman ng lalaki ang pagkailang nya kaya nagpaalam na to na baba "Uhm yeah if that's what you want. Just go down if your done. I already prepared our breakfast."

Steph simply nod as an answer and Troy takes it as a sign that he should go out and leave her.

Steph just wear a plain blouse and mini skirt. Thank goodness because the new undies bought for her fits perfectly.

Pagkababa nya nakahanda na ang lahat. Kumain sila ng tahimik.

Unang natapos sa pagkain si Troy makalipas ang ilang minuto ay natapos din sya.

"About last night I think it's better for us to just forget about it. I was so drunk that I didn't think straight before acting" pagsisimula nya. Alam ni Steph kaya hindi kumikilos ang lalaki pagkatapos nitong kumain ay hinihintay sya nito para makausap.

"Really forget about it? You might forget that your still my wife Mrs. Branford and I'm still not over the way you flirt with the bastard last night! "

Nagpantig naman ang tainga ni Steph sa narinig "My wife your ass! The way you talked seems like your accusing me of adultery! May I remind you that you did it first while we are still together you have your mistress Lissa on your side and who knows your still in relationship with her until now!"

"For God sake Steph! Kung hinintay mo sana ako ng araw na un napaliwanag ko sana sayo ng maayos na walang kami ni Lissa. I'm sorry if I have taken you forgranted we were still young back then and I should have did my best to communicate with you kesa iniwasan ka with all our fights"

"That was all in the past now Troy. Kahit anong sabihin mo di maalis na nagsinungaling ka pa din sakin just to be with that girl!"

"I didn't mean to lie! Lissa and I are friends! Nagalit ako sakanya ng iniwan mo ako but after years I learned to forgive her. Sino ba ako para di magpatawad? I saw her sincerity kahit anong taboy ko sakanya ay nagawa nya pa din mageffort para humingi ng tawad. She saw how devastated I was when you left. She's too guilty."

"Wala akong pakialam! kahit magkarelasyon kayo okay lang!" pagmamatigas ni Steph. She was consumed with anger to believe him.

Umikot si Troy para makapunta sa pwesto nya. Nagpanic si Steph kaya napatayo sya sa pagkakaupo "W-what will you do?" tanong nya.
