Gabriella's POV
"So, we have like, three days left 'til school starts. Outing kaya us?"
"Eh? Tatlong araw nalang maga-outing pa tayo?"
"Well it doesn't have to be far naman. Like, yah know punta us sa beach resort and dun tayo mag-stay for three days. Para naman maka-relax tayo before our classes start."
"'Di pa naman summer ah? Masyado ka atang excited. Hoy babae tandaan mo marami pa tayong tatalakayin sa mga subjects natin sa pasukan. Kung ano ano iniisip mo diyan. Hintayin mong magbakasyon hoi."
"Kj namaaaan. 'Yon nga eh. Para naman kahit papa'no naka-let loose narin tayo before our work loads bite us on the butt. Hmp!"
"Tss manahimik."
"Kj talagaaaaa!" She continued to exasperate.
I can't help but be amused every time these two bicker. It's sorta fun to just listen to them endlessly arguing over simple things which would often lead to Adri pouting in defeat while Dems would just smugly grin in victory.
Andito kami ngayon sa seaside ng city. Adri and Dems came to my house earlier today para yayain akong, as they like to call it, gumala. Auntie of course immediately said yes para naman daw mahanginan ako at para 'di rin daw ako mabulok sa bahay. The two didn't hesitate to pull me out of the house after getting the approval from auntie of course, kaya ito kami ngayon, just enjoying the fresh breeze from the sea.
"Kelan naman tayo lalabas para makapag outing aber?" Tanong ni Adri habang kunot noong nakatingin kay Dems. She looks like a baby with her face being filled with fake annoyance.
"Aba 'di ka parin talaga tapos niyan? Sa susunod nalang nga. May sem-break naman ata tayo. Dun nalang tayo mag-outing para sulit." Dems said answering her. She looks so done with the topic if only it weren't for Adri bringing it up again. And just like kanina, I found myself highly amused with how they converse with each other.
"Kainis. K fine." Adri finally surrendered with a pout and nakita ko namang ngumisi si Dems dahil dito. "Anyway where are we going to meet Xuxi pala?" She then asked sabay tingin sa'ming dalawa.
Xuxi called her yesterday actually. Adri told us that he wanted to hangout kasama kami. Kaya rin naman pumunta 'ying dalawa kanina sa bahay para sunduin ako is dahil nga Xuxi requested us to go out.
"Diba kayo ang magkausap?" Saad ni Dems with one eyebrow up.
"Wala naman siyang sinabi kung saan eh. Maybe I can just text him where we are." She said, taking out her phone from her purse. "T'text ko na siya."
"Ge lang."
Adri was quick to send Xuxi a message and within a couple of seconds she received an incoming call.
"Ooh he's calling hihihi." Adri said with a smile. "Hello?"
"Oh hiiiii. I miss you too babie boy. Yes hahaha they're with me. Andito kami sa may seaside, ikaw? Do you want us to go there? Ah okay okay. Oh sige we'll wait for you here nalang. Sure thing. Okay ingat."
Binaba niya na ang kan'yang phone sabay tingin sa'min.
"He's close by. May dinaanan lang daw siya saglit." She said at nagtuloy-tuloy nalang kami sa'ming paglalakad.
"So Gab how are you feeling na?" She then asked me after awhile. I then shifted my gaze towards her before answering.
"I'm good. Thankfully medyo umokay na pakiramdam ko." I quietly answered and she seems happy naman with that.
"That's good to know. Basta remember ha? Don't ever do that again." Sabi pa niya and I just gave her a small nod bilang pagsagot.
"Oh ikaw? Musta ka narin? Okay ka na ba?" She then turned her attention towards Dems na nakapatong ang dalawang kamay sa likod ng ulo.
