DEMIR POV

I was gonna kill her, I swear I was. We were sitting in a picnic table in the center of the green house. She was drinking çay while I refused to take anything. It had been more than an hour and we had not even come close to an agreement.

"Demir bey, I said I wouldn't work with you, didn't I? In fact, you said I was not 'fit' to work with you, so forgive me if I don't understand why we're sitting here to begin with" - I hated how she always made the 'bey' sound like she was mocking me, this woman was gonna drive me crazy.

"Selin hanım..." - I sighed-  "sana her şeyi açıkladım zaten! The customer wants you specifically, believe me, If it were up to me, I would not be sitting here" - I said exasperated.

"And I said that's nice from your client, but thank you no thank you. I don't want to participate" - uff her nonchalance, I can't believe I was put in this position.

"Bak this is a great opportunity for your career, can't you see it? You'd be greatly compensated as well" - I was not begging, I swear I was just trying to reason with her.

"Umrumda değil, I'm already where I want to be" - she said with a smile, but it was not directed to me. By this point she had already stood up and was paying more attention to her flowers than to myself. She grabbed a pitcher of water that was on the table and poured them some. Then she surprised me when she kissed one of them.

I couldn't help staring at her

I couldn't help staring at her. Today she was wearing a spring like dress with long sleeves, it was stamped with small flowers. As her back was to me, I could see that the dress had a middle cut that showed almost half of her backside. The weird feeling I got when I first met her came rushing into me like a powerful flooding, I couldn't take my eyes away from her and couldn't even remember what we were talking about.

When she turned to me, she was kind of startled to find my gaze fixed on her, honestly I was just as surprised. She came back to the table and sat down in front of me, her head was leaned to one side and she was looking like she wanted to decipher something in me.

A certain curiosity arose in me - "You're a really attached to this place, aren't you?"

If before she looked kind of startled, now her surprise could not be hidden in any way - "Evet, burayı çok seviyorum... it brings me solace, whenever I'm here I feel like I'm one with nature, I get lost in their beauty"

She turned to look at the flowers around us and smiled, her eyes got lost like she was seeing but not looking, her mind was somewhere else and that gave me the time to appreciate her. Short dark hair, high cheekbones, pointed nose, dark eyes and a beautiful smile, she had an exotic kind of look into her that made her be just- "beautiful".

"Pardon? Did you say something? - Allah had I said that out loud?

"Peaceful... mmm I mean this place is peaceful"
