I was standing there looking at the man who had turned my life upside down since I met him. My mind was blank but my heart was beating a thousand beats a second.

"Selin abla isn't it amazing! I can't believe I live next to you now!" - I dragged my eyes away from Demir to look at my little angle, she had this huge smile on her face, and though this was completely unexpected a calmness settled in.
"Meleğim" - I went down on my knees in front of her. She had a little bit of chocolate ice cream on the corner of her mouth, so while I caressed her cheek with my palm I used my thumb to clean it away - "Someone's been eating a delicious ice cream" - She giggled at that and I smiled at her - "I'm happy we're neighbors too my angel, it's gonna be so much fun!"
I took her in my arms and she hugged me back, we were both giggling when Sakız made his presence be known bleating loudly from the backyard.
"What's that?" - Aslı's eyes were big now, and her expression made me laugh - "That's Sakız, my goat" - Aslı stayed there looking at me with the funniest face I had ever seen and I couldn't help laughing at her.
"You have a goat? - She whispered like she was asking for a top secret.
"I do!" - I whispered back. She looked at me for a couple more of seconds like deciding if to believe my words or not but then turned to her dad - "Baba lütfen!! Let me go see Sakız , lütfen, lütfen, lütfen!"
"Ben-- mmm" - he mumbled and I turned my head towards him, but to my surprise he was looking at me and not at Aslı.
"I have a better idea, I just cut some carrots for Sakız, they are on the kitchen counter, why don't you go and grab them for me so we can go and feed him some delicious carrot treats" - Her face lighted up like a Christmas tree when she took on my words.

"Baba? Lütfen!" - She put on such a puppy face that if I were him I couldn't have possibly said no.
Demir's eye were silently asking me if it was a good idea, to which I nodded my head, Sakız was excellent with children, and even more if they carried treats with them.
