DEMIR POV

I was not sure how long it had been, neither Selin nor me had even attempted on moving from our spot here in the garden. She was still sitting on my lap, while I was holding her as we continued kissing through the darkness of the night. I was completely intoxicated by her already, her taste, her scent giving me a high that I knew I was completely powerless of resisting.

I would not have taken our lips apart, if it were up to me I would have spent the rest of my life only with the taste of her mouth on mine, but when a strong current of night wind hit us, and Selin's body shivered with it, I was quickly reminded of my surroundings. Selin had been sick most of the weekend, and now I was having her here, in the cold of the night, and risking her health state again... so I pulled away, my forehead resting on hers so we could both have the chance to catch our breaths.

"Let's go inside? It's getting windy here" – I asked her as my nose caressed hers.

I was waiting for her answer, but instead of words, I was replied with the touch of her lips on mine again. Our laughs resonated behind our kiss as we both were too obvious on not wanting to let go. Since she was still on my lap, I put my arm behind her knees and with a swift movement I stood up, our lips never parting while I did so. Her laugh turned into a mini squeak the moment she felt me lifting her up, but it didn't take long for her giggles to come back. I gave her one las peck before I put her feet on the floor, grabbing her hand so we could walk together back to the house.

It was very late already, but since I was not working till she was finally recovered, I didn't really care. We walked hand in hand, giggling at our flushed states like if we were a pair of in loved teenagers coming back from a date, and not the two grown-up adults who had just shared their life's pains not too long ago.

Our laughs subsided automatically as we entered the house, both not wanting to wake Aslı up. I walked her till the bottom of the stairs, and then realized it was the time to let her go, my mood was not up for it at all, but if sleeping on the couch was the price to pay so she could stay here with me, I would spend the rest of my life never touching a bed again.

I kissed her knuckles on both hands before I let her go, I turned fast knowing that if I watched her leave, my wanting for her would take over and I would find myself following her towards the room. I made my way towards the couch since that was going to be my new bed at least for tonight. I tried to accommodate myself in it, but soon enough realized that my body was too long for it, my legs from the knees and down were hanging in the air and I knew then, it was going to be an awful night.

I hadn't realized that Selin had not left the living room, as I was concentrating on trying to find a position that could at least let me get some sleep. I heard the sound of the puff moving, before I felt her presence. I opened my eyes and saw she was pushing the seat towards me, placing it under my feat so I could lay more comfortable.

"Sağol" – I smiled to her, and then moved to see if I could find a better position now, but it was difficult as my body was too big for this small couch. I was still moving, turning, and turning again when her giggles found my ears.
