As I'm collecting my things so I can go meet up with Calvin my phone rings. My heart stops for a second.

As soon as I see that it's Ian I can breathe again.

"Hey," I tell him.

"Hey. Want to have dinner tonight?" He says hopefully.

I almost groan out loud. I want to tell him that we shouldn't see each other anymore more, but somehow the twins managed to convince me to not break things off.

"Tonight? I have plans with Calvin." I didn't want to lie.

"Calvin?" He didn't sound too happy about it.

I sit down and start messing with the same pens Calvin was messing with when he was in here.

"Yeah. He's a friend." I sound so confident. The total opposite of the way I feel.

"You're always nervous around him." He chuckles, "You can't be serious? Are you?"

I bite my lip before answering, "I'm serious. He's my friend. He's done so much for me."

Although I can't explain to him why I'm always nervous around him.

"Hmm." He says and I don't know if it's an answer or if he's thinking.

"So tomorrow?" I push.

"Yes, babe. Tomorrow." He sounds less than happy and I cringe at the word babe. It makes me feel guilty.

We hang up and I sit there for I don't know how long thinking if I should just call him back and end things. Or maybe it's a good thing that I'm seeing him tomorrow. I can tell him tomorrow.

That makes me feel a little better so I get up and my phone rings again.

I groan and I see Calvin's name. My heart speeds up again.

"Hey."

"What time are you leaving, woman?" He teases. I'm confused, how does he know I haven't left yet?

"I'm coming down now. Why?"

"Okay. I'll wait for you down here." I can basically feel the smile through the phone. Before I even get to say anything back he hangs up.

I grab my purse and basically run out of the office. There are only half the people here than there normally are. Almost everyone has gone home.

As I get into the elevator I fix my light pink blouse and my cream-colored skirt. Good thing I dressed nicer today, unlike other days. I roll my eyes at myself. I wish he'd given me time to change.

I step out of the building and see him standing there in front of his Porsche texting someone.

"Hey. You could've at least given me time to go home and change." I tell him as I get closer.

He looks up immediately and my nerves come back to me like a firecracker. He looks me up and down and I want the ground to swallow me whole. He leans in to hug me, but he pulls away too soon.

"You wanted to look nice for me?" He teases as he rests his hand on the small of my back and walks me to the passenger side of the car.

"Maybe." I shrug.

I never flirt back, but I want him to know we're on the same page.

His teasing smile switches to a genuine smile and I can literally feel my heart melt. He opens the door for me and I get in.

As soon as he gets in, he starts the car and I take advantage of the fact that he's driving to admire him.

I notice he's in casual clothes. He's wearing a simple white shirt that fits him perfectly. I never knew arms could be sexy. He's also wearing jeans and some white Nikes. I look up at his face and how his blue eyes are concentrated on the road as he's about to turn left. His hair is a little longer than what he used to keep it. I noticed that a long time ago. I look away quickly because somehow I was starting to get horny just thinking about running my fingers through his hair while I sat on his lap.
