**Calvin's POV
Fuck. My head is pounding. I shouldn't have played Jenga. The more I drank the worst I got at that game.
I try to open my eyes and I wince as the brightness from the room makes my eyes hurt. I hear shuffling next to me and I have to scoot closer, keeping my eyes closed because if I open them again, my head is going to pound harder than it already is. I try to wrap my arm around her, but she slaps my arm hard, making me open my eyes.
"Caroline's downstairs, idiot," Ruth grumbles as she pulls the blanket over her head.
I grumble, "Why are you even in here?" I didn't like the idea that I was about to touch her, thinking it was Caroline.
"I didn't want to sleep alone. Don't be too excited there, buddy. Caroline slept in the middle." Her voice sounded kind of muffled from being under the blanket.
I get up and walk into Caroline's en-suite. I splash some water on my face before realizing I needed a fucking shower. I turn her shower on when I hear a soft knock on the door. I curse under my breath. I'm going to slam the door on Ruth's face if she says she needs to use the bathroom. I open it and Caroline is standing there with two painkillers and a glass of water. She's changed too. She's wearing a white tank top and a pair of black short Nike shorts. My dick twitches at the sight of her, I'd like to have those legs wrapped around me. Her hair is still messy as she looks at me with her honey-colored eyes.
I pull her into the bathroom and shut the door behind her. I take the two pills she offers and drink the entire glass of water.
"You're going to shower?" She asks quietly.
I nod and smile. I want her to come shower with me, "Want to join me?"
She takes a deep breath and looks back at the door. Obviously worried about Ruth.
"Not right now."
And before I get a chance to pull her back to me, she walks out the door and I groan. Why can't we be alone? I regret drinking so much last night. I could've definitely convinced Caroline to not let Ruth sleep in bed with us and we could've done other things.
I shower and get ready, using the same clothes I wore yesterday. I go through her drawers and check if she has any spare toothbrushes. I find she actually has a few and I smile. I brush my teeth and I'm grateful my headache has subsided. I need to walk out of this room and I don't want Ruth yelling in my ear.
I walk out of the en-suite and notice Ruth is still asleep on Caroline's bed. I walk out and down the stairs to find Caroline and Roux making breakfast.
Roux giggles, "This is cool. The batter smells so good." She says as she's mixing something in a bowl with a whisk.
I walk closer to them and Caroline notices me and smiles at me nervously, "Good morning." I tell them.
"Good morning." They both say.
I look over to the left and see Nathaniel sitting there on the couch. I smirk, remembering Roux all over him last night. He must've spent the night here. He nods in acknowledgment and I do the same.
I walk over to Caroline and wrap my arms around her waist. She smells sweet and I breathe her in while I give her a quick kiss on her neck before pressing my lips on her plump pink lips.
"She's teaching me how to cook, Calvin. Do that later." I turn to see Roux pouting.
I sigh, defeated. Why can't I have any alone time with her? I let it go. More because Roux tends to be nicer than Ruth.
