Walking into work the next morning I'm absolutely shattered. I knew I had an early shift but yet I still spent hours gallivanting around Paris with Neymar. As I make my way into the office I head straight for the coffee machine in the corner adding an extra shot of espresso to my latte.

"Someone had a late night" Chelsea says as she joins me with her coffee.

"I'm paying for it. I feel worse than I do with a hangover" I say feeling like I could go back to bed for days.

"That's what happens when you spend the day touring Paris with fit footballers" Chelsea says with a cheeky grin. Where is Hannah when I need her? Looking through my paperwork I try to avoid the conversation that I know is inevitable. "Ooh avoiding the conversation now Miss Smalling"

"I'm not avoiding the conversation. I just have to get ready for today's briefing" a white lie, I know it's wrong but I don't want to talk about Neymar, not until I know in my own head why I suddenly feel like I have feelings for him.

"Come on we both know you have ages before you have to start. What's going on? Montana you can trust me you know" Chelsea says and the hurt look on her face forces me to put the paperwork down.

"So you know I worked with Neymar and a few of the other lads in Australia right? Well we kept in touch every now and again which is why I decided it was okay to meet up with him but now" I stop myself and sigh.

"Now you have feelings for him?" Chelsea asks finishing my sentence.

"That's the thing. I don't know. I've never thought about him that way but when we saw him the other night I felt different just seeing him and spending the day with him just added to that"

"It's okay that you feel like that. Who knows maybe there's a future for you as a couple"

"I think that's going too far. I wondered if I was just craving the attention of a man you know after things with Jesse ended the way they did" I admit wondering if it's really Jesse that I'm pining for.

"I don't think this has anything to do with Jesse. You wouldn't have felt that attraction as soon as you saw Neymar if you were thinking about Jesse because let's be honest, they're nothing alike" Chelsea says looking over at me as she sips on her coffee. I can't deny that she's right.

"It doesn't matter because Neymar isn't going to feel that way about me. Look at him Chels, he's the world's most expensive footballer he could have literally anyone at his beck and call. Why would he be interested in me?" I say. Neymar could have his pick of women and I know I wouldn't be on that list.

"The way he looked at you in that club tells me otherwise and his body language on that photo! Montana hun you don't stand that close to someone you don't like" Chelsea says as if it's obvious "I think he likes you, he definitely fancies you"

"I don't think so. Right this time I do actually have to work" I say turning back to my paperwork trying to get the Brazilian footballer off my mind.

Finishing work I look at my phone to see a few texts from Neymar asking me to go shopping. Thinking about what Chelsea was saying I start to wonder why he wants me to go shopping with him. He's Neymar it's not like he needs fashion advice from little old me.

"Neymar wants me to go shopping with him" I say as Chelsea and I make our way home.

"That's just an excuse. He's looking for a reason to be able to see you again" Chelsea says as we leave the metro station and start walking back to our apartment building "I think you should go whatever his excuse for seeing you is. He clearly wants to spend time with you and what do you have to lose?"
