**Melissa's POV**
It's been a while since i've had a true friend. The only "friends I have are the teachers that help me. School isn't that bad though, not compared to the things going on at home. I can't tell the guidance councelors anything about my parents arguing every single day about some stupid ass topic my mother comes up with. Then everything moves towards me and I'm the "bad child" after I say something that actually makes sense. But it wasn't like this before... life crashing down before your eyes as you watch people act like animals. No.. It was better.. it was normal.
It was like walking through court. Everyone staring at you, like you did something wrong. But my head was screaming in pain. Why couldn't anyone tal-
"Hey Melissa!" Ugh it was the most popular girl at school Vanessa Kailing. She was the one that started the whole rumor about me sleeping with the English teacher, Mr. Blake. I rolled my eyes at her.
"I just wanted to tell you that I left a little note in your locker." she said with an evil grin.
I walked towards my locker and stared at it as she walked away. The words read: "Melissa the slut!" I sighed and opened my locker to grab my books. "I hate this place" I mumbled.
I couldn't believe I was ever her "best friend" when we were growing up. It felt like I was stabbed in the heart when all of this came out. Even the people I knew since I was in elementary school believe her about all of this.
I could feel a a tear in my eye while I was walking to class, but I had to hold it back.
