The room is dimly lit by wall torches giving it an orange ambiance. The seven cloaked figures are huddled around a cauldron topped by a dancing rich blue fire. They silently chant whilst pointing their wands at the cauldron. One of them shudders involuntarily and sways unsteadily, but just about manages to compose himself without breaking the chant. The others remain focused; undisturbed by anything around them. As the chant intensifies, the fire momentarily changes to a bright purple colour, but then quickly changes back. The figures continue to chant in unison, undeterred.
Outside, two more similarly cloaked figures stand at the edge of the lake, their wands pointed towards the air above the lake, as though ready to deal with whatever is expected to appear. They stand poised without saying a word for about fifteen minutes, but the waters of the lake lay motionless.
"Hyung, I don't think anything's going to happen tonight. We've been standing like this for ages and my arm is starting to ache."
There was no response from the other person because his attention is directed towards a flock of black falcons flying aggressively toward them from beyond the other side of the lake. Both men cast a protective shield around them while the falcons swoop down and attempt to crack the shield. Hearing the noise outside, the seven figures stop chanting and run outside to help their comrades.
"Come on gang, you know what to do...."
