- In her early childhood, Kathie was a carefree girl who just wanted to have fun, learn new things, and go on zany adventures with her brother. She loved to play with dolls, read short stories, play on the playground, and especially loved Christmas. However, as time went on, people around her began to ridicule her for actively enjoying the things that make her happy, thus that makes her ashamed for liking her favorite things and she started masking her true self with a more mature, put-together façade. That would cause her to stop spending time with Bartholomew the same way she did before and get liked by others. But what she didn't know was that these people liked her not because of her. They only liked her for being someone that's she not.

- While she is perceived as someone who is serious, doesn't that much, and doesn't like to joke around, that's not who she truly is. Her real self wants to play around and act like a kid. She doesn't get many opportunities to let herself loose because she doesn't want to be shamed again. However, thanks to her girlfriend, she has given her the courage to enjoy what really makes her happy again, and to not listen to people who try to get her to cut it out. After all, Kathie feels enjoyment from her favorite things on a deep level.

- All the internal conflicts that Kathie went through changed the way she spent time with Bartholomew. One moment, they had been running, jumping, and playing, but then the next, they just do normal things together. Bartholomew had always been aware of Kathie's sudden maturity, but he never said anything about it because his growth and development happened naturally, not because someone told him to grow up. Even so, he accepts Kathie for who she is.

- Kathie has a sentimental personality. She feels strong emotions every time she gets into contact with someone or something that means a lot to her.
