The investigation began as soldiers were searching through the forest. Nexus watched while hiding behind a rock.
Nexus: Everything is fine. You played some ball, got a little upset, lightning shot out of you! And now... they're coming for you.
He ran back to his cave and starts packing.
Nexus: Okay, Earth is no longer safe. Time for Plan B: Mushroomville. I gotta need my stuff first! Essential items only. Toothbrush, hair gel, nightlight, scented candle, my entire manga collection, some cookies. Bean bag chair. Can a bean bag chair fit in a backpack? No, of course not that's stupid. Alright, what else? The rings! The rings, yes of course. *grabs one* OK, ring time. Mushroom world here I-
He heard commotion coming from outside, indicating that the soldiers weren't far.
Nexus: Oh no, they're right outside. I-I gotta go somewhere else.
He heads for the exit before looking back sadly.
Nexus: Goodbye cave.
He runs off, trying to find a safe place to hide.
