Y/N watched the screen backstage, her heart beating faster than she thought possible. She pressed her hands together, watching him fly across the stage, watching his feet move and completing the steps that looked impossible to her. She listened to his rap, unable to tear her eyes away from him. She was certain that she hadn't blinked once throughout the performance. She'd have to submit a complaint to Starship. This wasn't healthy.
"You really love him, don't you?" said one of the staff members, laughing at her. It was Yejin, the staff member she was the closest too. Despite being older than her, she treated Y/N like a friend.
"Hm, does it show?" she responded, laughing too. They stopped performing and started talking to their fans, and she was able to tear her eyes away from the screen for a minute.
"Just a little," Yejin said with a smile. "They should be coming backstage in a minute."
"It's not like I'm waiting for him or anything," Y/N retorted playfully.
"Of course," Yejin said. "And your eyes totally weren't glued to him on the TV."
"Exactly! I was watching all of them. Equally."
"Mhm," Yejin said, sarcasm dripping in her tone. "Exactly."
They both turned, hearing a commotion on the stairs, and Y/N shot to her feet as the Cravity members started filing in, going to change their clothes and eat a quick snack and have something to drink in the limited time they had in-between performances.
Allen peaked his head in the door playfully, heading straight to her. He reached forward for a hug, but she held out a hand, keeping his at arms length.
"You're all sweaty," she teased. "No hugs until you go home and take a shower."
"But how am I going to get energy?" he whined.
She handed him a cookie. "Have a snack."
"You know what I could do to get energy?" he continued, taking the cookie and biting into it. "Maybe... a kiss?"
She smirked at him, "well, only if you really need one. For energy and all."
"For energy," he confirmed, taking her hand and pulling her closer to him. Her heart thumped and she reached up, kissing his cheek. He wrapped an arm around her and kept her close, locked in at his side.
"Not quite what I was expecting," he said, winking at her. "But still cute."
"Allen!" one of the staff members shouted. "You have to go change. Hurry up!"
He pouted at her, giving her a kiss on the cheek and running off. She felt her face heat up and she raised her hands to her cheeks, trying to cool them off.
He didn't have time to talk to her again before running back onto the stage, jumping back into performance mode, and morphing from the cute boy she was dating, into the tough rapper with the seemingly effortless dancing skills.
Again, she situated herself on the couch, watching them perform. She tried to focus on all the members this time, she really did, but her eyes kept going back to him.
"Watching all of them again?" Yejin teased. "Equally?"
"Well of course," Y/N said matter-of-factly. She pointed to the screen, where Hyeongjun was currently singing. "Actually, Hyeongjun is my bias, isn't he wonderful?"
Yejin sat down next to her. "Who was your bias? Before you met them?"
Y/N smiled. "It was Minhee. But now it's Allen, of course. Who's yours?"
"Woobin," she said with a giggle. "Those high notes he hits, woah. I never fail to be completely blown away by him."
"They're all really talented," Y/N agreed, staring at the screen again. "And cute," she added as an afterthought.
"Especially Allen," Yejin said, elbowing her side and raising her eyebrows.
Y/N blushed harder, hiding her face behind her hands.
Yejin laughed. "You got it baaaad," she teased.
"I really do," Y/N admitted. She watched the TV again. They were talking to their fans. Allen was doing aegyo.
"Allen has a very special guest to show everyone," Serim announced, drawing her attention to him.
She tilted her head at Yejin. "Did he bring his parents again?" He'd done that before, at one of their previous concerts. It had been really cute.
But Yejin shook her head, a mischievous twinkle in her eye. "No."
"Then who-"
Allen burst backstage, grabbing her hand. "Come on!" He said excitedly.
"Where am I going?" she asked, half nervous and half excited to hear his answer.
"It's time to introduce you to the world," he announced, hugging her tightly.
"But they know me already," she protested, pushing him away playfully, but he didn't let go.
"And they've been begging to see you," he whined. "Pleaseeeee. Come on. Don't be shy, they'll love you. And I'll be right beside you the whole time," he said, squeezing her hand.
She linked her arm in his. "What are we waiting for, then?" she said, laughing giddily. She was still really nervous. She could feel herself shaking a little bit, and he could too. He wrapped an arm around her waist, steadying her.
"You sure? You ready?"
"Ready and waiting sir. Let's go."
He laughed, leading her out onto the stage.
The crowd squealed, and she blushed, raising a hand to touch her face, feeling it getting hot.
The Cravity members clapped. Serim said some words introducing them, and it was probably something really sweet, but she barely heard him. She was staring at the massive crowd around her, tucking herself slightly behind Allen and peeking out from behind him.
He gently pulled her forward. "This is my girlfriend, Y/N," he announced proudly. To thousands of people.
She gave a little wave, and the crowd squealed.
Allen stopped looking at the crowd, and instead, he turned to face her.
"I hope you guys will love her very much," he said softly. "Just as much as I do, though I doubt that's possible."
She smiled, tears shinning in her eyes. "I love you," she whispered.
"And I love you," he whispered back, engulfing her in a huge hug as his fans cheered around them.
