Y/N sat in the corner of the bookstore, the tiny, quiet corner that she always went to. Hardly anyone came back here, and she loved being alone and opening the pages into a totally new world.

She could hear some commotion closer to the front of the store, but she didn't bother to look up to see what it was. Her eyes were glued to the book, every part of her being transported into this new world that the author was crafting in front of her. Vaguely, she heard them quiet down. She heard someone sit down next to her, which had never happened in this deserted corner of the store, but she didn't look up to see who it was.

"Would you like a sample, miss?"

Y/N looked up and smiled at the girl in front of her, who was carrying a tray of pink iced tea.

"Thank you," she said, placing her book to the side and picking up the cup. The person next to her said no thanks to the sample, and the woman walked away.

And Y/N made the mistake of peeking at the boy next to her.

She gasped, hands flying into the air of their own accord. The pink tea went all over her white shirt (though thankfully, her book escaped the catastrophe). The boy smiled at her in amusement and sympathy.

"I'll get you some napkins," he whispered, and she gaped at him as he walked away. Her eyes traveled to the Cravity keychain on her bookbag, and she pinched herself, sure that this was a dream.

But he came back with the napkins, confirming that this was very much real.

She stared at him, wide eyed.

Wonjin from Cravity.

"That must be a great book you're reading," he commented. "To not notice me." When she didn't say anything, she just stared at him, he continued. "I mean, because I see you're a fan."

She really couldn't say anything, all she could do was stare.

"So..." he said awkwardly. "Who's you bias?"

"You!" she finally choked out, hugging her knees and staring at him some more.

He handed her the napkins, and she took them, patting her shirt. It wouldn't do anything to take out the stain though. "My parents are going to be so mad," she whispered to herself.

"Here," he said, taking off his sweatshirt and handing it to her. "Wear this, and they won't even notice. Then you can bleach it before they see."

Her fingers hovered above the sweater. "Your sweater?" she whispered. She pinched herself again, harder, to try to compose herself. He noticed, and raised an eyebrow at her, but she choose to ignore it. "But... when would I give it back to you?"

"Do you come here often?" he asked, standing up and placing the sweater in her lap. "I'll come back next week. Same time. Meet you here."

Was this a... date?

Haha no. She shouldn't get ahead of herself. He just needed his sweater back, remember. But then... why was he giving it to her in the first place?

He started to leave, and she scrambled up. "Wait!" she whispered. "Can I get your autograph?"

A mischievous twinkle appeared in his eyes. "Only if you come next week," he said, walking away.

- the next week -

Y/N sat in the corner, hugging the sweatshirt to her chest, kind of sad to be giving it up. It made her feel connected to him, in a way. Maybe she should spill something else on her shirt so he'd give it to her for another week.

"Hey!"

Wonjin excitedly bounced over, sitting down next to her. "I realized that I never asked your name," he said, shaking his head at himself. "How rude of me."

"Y/N," she whispered, still shook that he was even talking to her in the first place.

"Pretty," he said softly, his eyes locked in hers, and she blushed. "I was wondering," he said, shoving his hands into his pockets and suddenly looking small and shy. "If I could have your number. Would you like to be friends?"

She stared at him for a long moment before letting out a squeal. She slapped her hand over her mouth, eyes wide as she stared at him. She started laughing uncontrollably. "For real?"

He nodded, and she reached forward, about to hug him. But then she pulled back, realizing that he might not appreciate her showing her excitement like that; it could make him uncomfortable.

But instead, his smile widened, and he pulled her into a hug.

- three months later -

"How are we gonna reveal it?" he asked, taking her hand.

She giggled, every part of her life feeling like an adventure now. "I don't know. How do you want to reveal it?"

A mischievous twinkle appeared in his eye. "Let's get caught by dispatch."

Y/N laughed, knowing he was being completely serious, and she nodded. "Let's."

"We should like, walk by the Han river," he continued. "And hold hands. And I'll buy you food. Someone will see us and there'll be a report soon."

Sure enough, the CEO was waiting for them when they got back to the company building. He was in the lobby, and he wordlessly shoved a phone into their hands. And there it was, the article from dispatch, revealing their dating. Y/N was surprised to find pictures from their other dates included in the articles; dates that they'd desperately tried to hide and not get caught on. That had been before they decided they wanted to go public with their relationship.

"When you said you were going to find a way to reveal her to the public... this wasn't quite what I had in mind," the CEO said, looking at Wonjin.

Wonjin grinned. "Isn't it wonderful?"

"That's... one word for it. Another might be stupid. But we'll roll with this and see how it turns out."

Not like they had a choice anymore. The decision had been made, the article had been posted.

"We're going to go out again," Wonjin announced, squeezing her hand. "I'm going to do a vlive and formally introduce her to our fans."

And he turned around, walking away without waiting for approval. She followed him, and he turned on the vlive. "Hi guys!" he said, letting go of her hand for a second and waving at the camera. "I'd like you to meet my girlfriend, Y/N," he said, taking her hand again and showing their intertwined fingers to the camera.

As they walked out the doors, as she watched the positive and sweet comments roll in, as she answered questions from his fans, her heart swelled as they took the steps into their bright future. Together.
