Party Makeover - Jungmo💕

"Our CEO said it's time that you are introduced to the world," Jungmo told her, twirling a piece of her hair between two fingers. 

"Your CEO said, or did you ask him for the 1000th time and he finally agreed?" Y/N teased, leaning against him. 

Jungmo sighed, kissing her forehead gently. "He finally agreed," he admitted. 

"What if I told you that I didn't want to be introduced to the world?" she teased. 

"Then you'd be lying." 

She laughed, "maybe a little," she admitted, and then frowned down at the floor. "But honestly... being in the public eye is a little scary. It's a bit intimidating." 

"We don't have to go public if you don't want to," Jungmo assured her. "Just know that whenever you're ready, we finally got the permission." 

"I'm ready," she said firmly, trying to convince herself as much as him. She had to do it before she lost her nerve. 

"Don't worry," Jungmo assured her, squeezing her shoulder. "I'll protect you." 

She giggled. "From what?" 

"From everything. The haters, the reporters... everything. I got your back." 

"And I got yours," she whispered. 

"Now!" Jungmo said, standing up and clapping his hands. She'd been leaning on him and fell to the floor when he suddenly got up, and he looked at her sheepishly. "Sorry." 

"It's quite alright," she said, accepting his help and picking herself up off the floor. 

"So, as I was saying, we have to go shopping now." 

Y/N blinked at him. She tilted her head, studying him, confused. "Why?"

"What better way to reveal you than going to the company party together?" he asked, winking at her. 

Her heart skipped a beat, both because of the wink and because of the big reveal. She felt nervous, but nodded anyway. "Okay," she said, nodding. "Let's do that." 

"You'll need a new dress," Jungmo said, beginning to list things off with his fingers. "New shoes, jewelry, and a purse." 

"I don't think I need new everything..." she started to say, but he pulled out a credit card and held it up, smirking at her. 

"I got everything settled already." 

Y/N squinted at it. "Is that... one of Starships credit cards?" 

"I told you I got everything figured out," Jungmo said proudly. 

"You didn't steal that, did you?" 

"Really Y/N?" Jungmo said indignantly, shooting her a glare. He grabbed her hand. "Enough with the questions. Let's go."

"Jungmo, I'm really nervous," she whispered, smoothing out her dress with one hand. She could feel herself shaking. 

"Nonsense," Jungmo said, squeezing her hand. "What do you have to be nervous about?" 

"Going onstage and announcing our relationship," she muttered. 

"I'm the one announcing it," Jungmo laughed. "I'm the one who should be nervous." 

Y/N looked up at him. "And yet you don't seem nervous at all." 

He leaned down, kissing her cheek. "Don't worry over nothing. There's nothing to worry about." 

"You sure this looks alright?" she murmured, looking down at herself again. 

He placed his fingers on her chin, raising her head so she'd meet his eyes. "You look beautiful," he whispered, making her blush. 

In the distance, she heard them being announced. 

"It's time," Jungmo whispered, squeezing her hand again. "Let's go?" 

Looking into his eyes, she felt herself calm down. She was still nervous, of course she was, but not as much as before. 

Looking into his eyes, she was sure that everything would work out just fine. 

"Let's go," she whispered.
