"Just for one day!" Taeyoung said firmly, walking after her. 

Y/N shook her head in annoyance. "No. The answer is no. Absolutely not." 

"Why not? I'll pay you and everything!" 

She spun around, placing her hands on her hips. "Do I look like the kind of person who would do anything for money?" 

Taeyoung scratched his head awkwardly, shrugging his shoulders. "Would saying yes help or hurt my argument?" 

She growled, throwing her hands up in the air and walking away again. And again, he started chasing after her. 

"Don't you have like, a gazillion girls you could possibly ask?" she snapped. 

"Yeah, but I want you," he whined, holding onto her arm and stopping her. He gave her those puppy eyes, the same way he had all these years. 

All these years being her friend and he never realized that she liked him? He never had looked at her that way, not once? 

Didn't he realize that asking her to pose as his girlfriend hurt? Didn't he see that's she didn't want it to be fake, but real? 

She pulled her arm out of his grasp. "No. Take someone else." 

"Come on," he whined, taking her hand and stopping her from leaving yet again. "It's just pretend. Please?" 

"That's the problem!" she snapped at him. "I need to get myself a real boyfriend," she muttered, walking away from him. 

"Well then... why don't you practice having a real boyfriend, by making me your fake boyfriend!" 

Y/N spun around, stopping him in his tracks. She spun around so fast that he almost bumped into her. They were nose to nose, and she glared at him. 

"I don't want you to be my fake boyfriend," she growled, staring daggers at him. 

He placed her hands on her waist. "Then how about you be my real girlfriend?" he whispered. 

"What?" she whispered, her heart beating so fast she thought it would beat right out of her chest. 

"You heard me," he whispered, stepping closer to her. "I like you, and I think you like me too. So you're right. Let's stop pretending, stop playing around. Let me be your real boyfriend." 

Y/N blinked at him. "You're not joking right now, are you? Because if you are, I'll never, ever forgive you." 

Taeyoung smiled at her, that heart stopping smile of his. "I'm not joking. I promise." He bent down, his nose centimeters away from hers. "Are you my girlfriend now?" 

She nodded, her heart still beating so fast. 

"Well then, can I kiss my girlfriend?" he whispered, leaning closer to her. She nodded, and he pulled her close, pressing a soft kiss against her lips.
