"Come on, get across. Come on!" Stiles motions for Scott to climb over as I glance through the glass in the door from the opposite side of the wall. I can't see it in the darkness, but the alpha is there, trapped inside.

Scott quickly slides over the desk as another growl echoes from inside the room and shrinks against the wall. I thought I was finally starting to catch my breath before Stiles edges closer to the doorway, Scott immediately pulls him back. "What are you doing?"

"I just wanna get a look at it."

"Are you crazy?"

"Look, it's trapped, okay? It's not gonna get out."

I dig my fingers into my hair. "You know, when one of the characters in a horror movie starts doubting the abilities of the killer, they are usually the next one to die."

Stiles climbs onto the desk before turning to me. "See I'm fine, Wes. This isn't one of your slasher movies, okay? This is real life and—"

A giant, clawed paw slams against the door's window, sending Stiles tumbling off of the desk and to the floor. He quickly recovers. "I'm not scared of you. Right, cause you're in there, and we're out here. You're not going any—"

Suddenly, the panels burst away, clattering to the floor as the alpha's dark figure darts into the upper interior. I stare up in horror as the ceiling panels above us shake, bending and popping up under the weight of the creature. No longer trapped at all.

Sprinting forward, Scott abruptly stops in his tracks. "Wait. Do you hear that?"

"Hear what?"

"It sounds like a phone ringing." He says, then his eyes grow wide.

"What?"

"I know that ring. It's Allison's phone."

I shove my hand into my pockets, searching around frantically. "Wes, what are you doing?"

"I'm gonna call Allison as soon as I find my—here it is." I quickly type in her name and place the phone to my ear. "Come on, come on. Pick up, Allison."

"Wesley?"

"Allison! Are you in the school right now?"

"Yeah, Scott texted me to meet him, he said it was urgent. Where are you guys?"

"What? No, we—"

Scott pulls the phone from my grasp and takes a few steps away from us. "Where are you in the school?" There's a pause. "No. Where? Where are you exactly? Okay, get to the lobby. Go now."

Allison stands by the trophy wall, nervously tapping her foot before turning to Scott as we barrel into the room. "Why did you come? What are you doing here?"

"Because you asked me to." She responds, obviously.

"I asked you to?"

She clicks on her phone and shows us the message:

Meet me at the school. URGENT -Scott

"Why do I get the feeling you didn't send that message?"

"Because I didn't."

"All right, did you drive here?" Stiles asks, most likely hoping for a way out of here.

"Jackson did."

"Jackson's here?"

"And Lydia, what's going on?" We glance around at each other as her phone begins ringing again.
