I hop into the front seat of the Jeep while Jackson and Lydia get into the back.

"Uh, where's Allison going to sit?" I ask Stiles.

Allison quickly climbs into the Jeep and onto my lap as Stiles shifts the gear stick into drive.

"Uh, that works." I comment before wrapping my arms around her waist as Stiles floors it through the parking lot and onto the road.

"So, um, Lydia. I was wondering if you could help me with Economics?" I start, trying to lower her suspensions.

"Wesley, what do you mean?" She asks, giving me a weird look from beside Jackson. "Besides me, you have the highest grade in Eco."

"Uh, yeah, you're right." I say burying my face into Allison's back.

"Where are we going?" Lydia asks as she stares out of the window.

"Scott's house." Stiles answers as he taps his thumb against the steering wheel.

After a few minutes, Stiles practically slams on the brakes, making Allison push her hands against the dashboard before throwing him an annoyed look.

"Uh, sorry." He apologies as everyone begins pouring out of the Jeep.

Stiles runs around to the passenger door and shuts the door after Lydia steps out.

He reaches out for her arm and leads her up the stairs to the McCall house. "If we're studying at Scott's house, then where is Scott?"

"Meeting us here, I think. I hope."

I throw him a look, causing him to shrug as we hurry to the door. From behind me I can hear Allison thank Jackson while Stiles pulls out a chain of keys, thumbing through them for Scott's.

"Roscoe's key, my house key, Sheriff's office key, Wes' house key--"

"Stiles!" I motion for him to hurry.

"Right, uh, here it is."

He grabs the single key and shoves in into the doorknob before turning it and rushing everyone inside. Once we're all in, he quickly slams the door shut, locking it. He then latches the chain before peeking out of the curtain.

I look out of the other window before noticing Lydia's skeptical glare at Stiles as she crosses her arms.

"Uh, there's been a few break-ins around the neighborhood." Stiles explains, though it only makes her scoff.

"Better safe than sorry, right?" I add, making Stiles nod before grabbing a dining chair from the next room.

He wedges it under the doorknob as I raise my eyebrows at him.

"And a murder." He continues as I scratch my neck. "Yeah, it was bad. Right, Wes?"

"Um, yeah, really bad." I agree, though there was no way to make anything he's doing seem normal.

I notice Allison giving Jackson a nod to the stairs, making him sigh before turning to Lydia with a sickly look.

"Lydia, follow me. I need to talk to you for a minute."

He begins to walk down the hallway, causing Lydia to sigh before following him. "Seriously, what is going on with everyone?"

Once Jackson and Lydia have turned the corner I hit Stiles on the arm.

"Ow!"

"There's been a murder, Stiles, really?"

"I didn't know what else to say, alright! It's not like you were much help. 'Can you help me with Economics, Lydia?'" He mocks.
